Leather Armor from the Frosted Wyvern
In the end, I couldn't get through it.
It felt like everyone from the Wildcat Cat’s was pressing me that my plain leather armor would be inadequate for future escort duties.
The only ally I had was Talat.
But since Talat couldn't speak, I was essentially on my own.

There was no helping it, so I took the best part of the Frost Wyvern's leather and returned.
It's time to start making my leather armor.

The original concept was the Goddess's armor.
I dismantled it into parts and traced it onto the pattern.
But, it was quite challenging.

The armor was intricately designed for easy movement, and the decorations were intricate too.
Replicating all of these details took a really long time just for making the patterns.
In the meantime, I interspersed running the shop and hunting the Frost Wyvern again, but it took a week just to make the patterns.
Yeah, this armor now holds a record for the longest time in the making.

Now that the patterns were done, the next step was to cut the leather into pieces, which was also a large number.

Because there are many three-dimensional and overlapping parts, I couldn't afford to make any mistakes in the order of cutting them apart.
Just cutting out the parts from the patterns took four days, and another two days to turn them into armor.
In total, it took one week to complete a leather armor similar in looks to the Goddess's armor.

Yeah, isn't the perfect reproducibility impressive?

"But, I'm worried about wearing this..."

Even though it's Frost Wyvern leather, it's inferior in both defense and durability compared to the Goddess's armor.
The Goddess's armor has an enchantment for self-repair, so as long as I perform simple maintenance, it won't deteriorate.
Moreover, even if it gets scratched, it will repair over time.
It's hard to part with such powerful armor...

"Oh, that's right! Equipment synthesis!"

Equipment synthesis is a technique that fuses the strengths of equipment to create new equipment, just as it sounds.
This has been used before, such as Keuko’s sword being a synthesis of the Ogre King's sword.
If I use this properly...

"When in trouble, consult the Goddess's book! Um, equipment synthesis... there it is!"

The Goddess's book also had instructions on equipment synthesis.
It involves imbuing both pieces of equipment with magic and then intertwining them to attract each other.
By doing this, a new piece of equipment possessing only the strengths of both is created.
However, the stronger the resulting equipment, the higher the difficulty.
It seems that skilled techniques in that field are required for difficult synthesis.
I wonder if my magic tailoring skills will suffice?
Even if I fail, the equipment won't disappear, so let's give it a try right away!

"Um, first, let's infuse magic into the Goddess's armor..."

Wow, the magic flows through effortlessly. This aspect is amazing too.

"Next, the Frost Wyvern's leather armor... wait, what's this!?"

Conversely, making the magic flow through the Frost Wyvern's leather armor is very difficult.
So this is why skilled techniques are necessary!
Alright, if brute force doesn't work, I'll sew it on like threading a needle!

"... Finally, the magic flows through. Now, I just need to combine these two..."

And done!
The Goddess's armor made with Frost Wyvern's leather armor is complete!
Performance-wise, it's almost identical to the Goddess's armor.
With a little heat resistance on top, it's maintaining a constantly comfortable temperature.

In appearance, it's made out of Frost Wyvern, so Alizée and everyone from the Wildcat Claws shouldn't have any complaints!
Well, I'll unveil it tomorrow after a good night's sleep.
