Here is the release of the 10$ build for December. Enjoy :)

There already was last week. The Idea is that the 25$ builds are released some time in advance to our Member tier supporters to play earlier. They then give us feedback about improvements they want, additions, bugs, and balances which we work into the game as we can. Then 1-2 weeks later we release the worked up version of that build for all other tiers (public and 10$).

The music was tied to the game mode I think. Since the sandbox is a different game mode, it doesnt play there.

Is there a way to make it download faster? it also give me a bug (my download speed is 1gb but its locked to 3 mb on this launcher) I leave to download but it always gives me a bug after 40 mins of it downloading.

Hi Adeptus, the new animations and other fixes are very good in this update. However something that I don't like at all was the new sky system (Sandbox gameplay). Previously, in the 2021.10.25 version, the color at sunset (18 pm) and at night (3 am) gave a color that caused an almost realistic effect in the scenes. Especially using the cinematic camera. Now all the scenes seem to have a cheap filter that ruins all the realism of before. Now at no time at night the scenes can be played, since the characters are barely seen, even under the moon light. I should turn the brightness up to the maximum to give an effect similar to that of the 2021.10.25 version, but the sky is so bright that it seems like it was daytime. Worse still between 17 and 19 pm instead of giving a sunset effect it seems an apocalyptic effect the characters look completely red. I have some comparative images in case you want to see them, maybe I can send them to the mail. In case this has been configured intentionally, can you add a configuration in settings to activate the old sky system? The new one really takes away too much realism from the shots.

Hm that is quite the unique opinion tbh. I dont really understand. The new system has much better behaviour, colors and performance, peoples screenshots on our discord server are a testimony to that. The old sky system will not be kept as its an old version of this current one. If you can send me comparison screenshots between old and new I can see if we can tweak settings a little but the new system is here to stay.

Okay, it appears its not just a steam VR problem. When I get to the screen where it asks if im ok with sex, violence and drugs it does not allow me to press ok or exit.

I think other people posted this issue before. The installation by the launcher, keeps aborting at different Stages of the download. One Gigabyte is the most I got. Most of the time it's already aborting at 200 MB. Since this issue was brought up before, I take, it's a known issue. Was there some solution to it already, which I was just too stupid to find or is this a every-one-for-themselves-issue?

Hiya Steve (: sorry for being a bother again ... I tried searching for a solution but haven't turned up anything yet, hoped these FAQ would help. When launching after DL (as admin :D) I get a LowLevelFatalError - Corrupt pak index detected on pak file: WildLifeC-WindowsNoEditor.pak Is this common or have I screwed up something? Is there a way to download without the launcher? I have read all the Google Docs & watched the YouTube tutorial, this absurdly for consumers paying for this.

Is there a way to play the game without it severely freezing? After launching, I choose new game, then to play village, a jungle screen pops up with mini skulls showing the game is loading. Then my entire computer freezes! The only way to stop the game is by full restart. I am also a $10 patreon.

I decided to put the game on another old Lenovo laptop i used to have instead. The game does not freeze anymore, however, my only problem now is the game is very slow. I don't know how to make it faster. I have my Lenovo laptop in game mode set in high performance. What could you recommend to increase game performance?

The main reason for unusual performance issues is a missing GPU. Many people have computers and laptops without dedicated GPUs and dont realize it, those arent enough to play current gen games and things will run very slowly if at all.

Na, the latest build is broken, lagging freezing all that. You have to reinstall it over and over and over to get it to work and that's only for a bit. And considering this PC is only a few months old custom built, it ain't my specs.

Found a annoying bug in the game. After I collect the bow at the beach along with the wine bottles and ammo then return to the bar I fall to my death from the sky. Anyone else have this happen?

I cant seem to get the game to download for the $25 tier…. Every time i try it’ll get close to the end and then say there’s some sort of web error and then give up. Not sure what exactly is going on buti really want to see what’s been updated since i used to be a subscriber long ago and i wanted to come back and see what was new

How can I connect to oculus quest2? I had experience half-life, that is working through SteamVR However, Wild Life's shipping-full-buil_1 is not showing on steamVR anywhere. So I executed virtual desktop but still not connect to the PC.

I got the game without the launcher because of the WebClient request. But how do I prove I'm a patreon member so that I can edit the settings so that I can get rid of the blurring or censorship? Didn't realize the game DL that didn't need the launcher didn't allow for modifications and just wanting to enjoy the full experience is all, sorry if I'm being a pain...

I had the some problem with the WebClient request issue. I open the launcher as administrator and that fixed it for me. Hope this helps!

There seems to be an issue with the login server. Unfortunately we arent owners of the site so currently its out of our control. But luckily we do offer the alternative direct download via mega which should work just fine.

That probably doesnt have to do with your cancelling. It seems to be a bug on patreons end. We checked our launcher code and their servers are returning 0 for the pledge value for everyone. I suggest for the time being you use our alternative mega link. (If Mega throws a popup saying you should pay, scroll down, there should be a green button there that says continue download. WildLife has a business account and thus there should be no download size limit)

Hi everyone. I am so excited to be here. After playing the public version of Wild Life, I decided to become a Patreon and try out the full version. I'm having a blast playing this game but I am confused about a couple of things as I am not only new to Patreon but to Adeptus' masterpiece as well. Is 'Newest_2022_03_03' or '2021.12.22_Shipping_Full_Build_1' the latest version of Wild Life (10$ Build)? I feel it should be pretty obvious so sorry if it's a dumb question. That being asked, congratulations Adeptus Steve for creating what I feel is the best and most realistic adult RPG on the Internet. I really hope the development of Wild Life will spawn over many many years from now.

I have the "an exception occurred during a WebClient request" error with the launcher, troubleshooting with the document had no success. Mega is extremely slow for me, which I think is due to me being in an internet restricted country and using VPN. In the past I have had success using Mediafire and a download client on my end. And thanks for the heads up.

Document didn't help but I got around it. Just in case it's useful; I had to download the Mega desktop app, which took about 4 hours in itself, then I got good download speeds on the files themselves.

Ran into the webclient issue a few times myself due to bad WiFi. the cause of the Problem is : webClient.DownloadFileAsync(new Uri(link), Settings.Default.lastOutputPath + "\\WildLifeBuild.zip"); you should be using System.Net.HttpWebRequest rather than System.Net.Webclient as webclient does not support resuming downloads and therefore is unreliable for files over 100-500MB. you can check out https://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?669162-WebClient-DownloadFileAsync-with-resume-support for an override to DowloadFileAsync (C# version in post #7) or just use it as a reference

Should be as easy as pluggin in the HMD and then pressing Alt+0(zero) while ingame. Note we do not have controller support or UI navigation implemented.
