Wild Life is coming to Kickstarter (Patreon)

Heya folks!
We have big news to announce.
Wild Life is coming to Kickstarter!

On October 22nd we will be launching the fundraiser and running the campaign throughout November in order to raise additional funding for the final game. We also wish to increase public awareness and generate more interest in our project and we believe Kickstarter is the platform for this.

First and foremost we would like to clarify why Kickstarter is the right choice for this project.

We have a grand vision for Wild Life and to realise this, we need to expand our team. We are seeking to hire more animators, as well as character artists, level artists and a UI/UX designer. The extra money and exposure that comes from a KS campaign will help us achieve our goals quicker and with greater quality.

With the help of our fantastic Patreon community, we have already created a high-quality gameplay showcase of the final game. Now as we look to the future, we want to realise our vision of what the fully-fledged RPG Wild Life is meant to be, including all the features and uncensored debauchery our fans love and deserve!

We are of course extremely grateful for anyone who can pledge, however, you can also help us a lot without pledging, by sharing the campaign and becoming part of the community!

Throughout and following the Kickstarter campaign, Patreon will continue as our main development platform. There, we will continue to explore ideas, encourage player suggestions and deliver updates to you in our usual bi-monthly release schedule. After the official release of Wild Life has launched (date TBD) we will continue to work on additional content packages such as add-ons, DLCs, and much much more.

We have more news coming up with brand new partners full of goodies for everyone!

Discord will be the place to reach out to us directly if you have feedback or suggestions and is also the space to stay up to date with live streams and Q&As!

The developments on platforms such as Kickstarter and Patreon are proving that this exciting genre is becoming more and more popular with gamers and we aim to be at the forefront with Wild Life.

We sincerely thank all of you for being such a strong and supportive community, we could not accomplish this without you!

Makes sense if you wanna expand the scope of the game. The bones of the game are good. But yeah, content turnout and fleshing out the game is gonna be a while unless ya get more people. Would be happy to share so yall dont get overworked.

Is there a way to track how much one has already contributed here? Patreon doesn't seem to have that feature for supporters, other than by slowly adding it up through my complete payment history :c

Not sure if a supporter has a way other than adding up his bills. But as a creator we have a complete database of all current and former supporters with total amount supported and other info. Thats what we will use in the end to determine those who get their key for the final game.

I've heard that from a lot of adult game developers only to see them bend the knee to woke hypocrites, political crazies, and scumbags from Twitter, Reddit, and Reset Era (see Subverse). Subverse almost bent the knee to far left Twitter crazies and Reddit/Reset Era when the team was attacked for talking to a youtuber Reddit, Cancel Culture, and Games Workshop hate (Arch). Even though they apologized Arch, Subverse lost my interest and money for nearly bending the knee.

Just remember people like myself are willingly giving you support and money. The woke crazies, sjws, Twitter crazies, reddit, and reset era are not when they try to threaten you with cancel culture (I hope they avoid you). I'm not trying to be a jerk but I'm just concerned with this kickstarter move. Many things flop under kickstarter for reasons, and I'm not fond of kickstarter's "affiliations."

What will be the difference between Patreon and Kickstarter. Being already a backer here, will I need to also pledge the Patreon to get updates? Or will the Kickstarter version have features or bonuses that I won't get by sstaying on Patreon only? In short, I'm not sure I understand what the difference will be, and what I'll need to do from now on to get the most complete version of the game available.

Patreon and Kickstarter are about the same when it comes to rewards. Any reward on KS can also be applied to patreon if you have pledged that amount. Being a patron you are already going to get the most complete version of the game.
