Hey all, welcome to this week's progress report.

Level:
Started working on A-Quality blockout of Alpha Camp.
Continued work on Cave Mini Locations.
Refining concepts for Pearl Village buildings.
Blockout flora assets are about 80% finished.
Created many Laboratory and Alpha Camp assets.

Code:
Iterated on new animation blueprint, including combat animation blending and turn sideways behavior.
Further iterations on new combat and combat AI, mostly resolving bugs and issues.
Implemented dual wield weapons for new combat. A dual wield weapon item will spawn two instances of itself when equipped or held.
Added the ability to rename, group and "delete unused" custom materials.
Searchable combo boxes only navigate the filtered results now instead of all options.
Added auto-wrap option to UI Text.
Added a bunch of new Lua functions, more information here.
Added a new directional scale gizmo mode.

Character:
Implemented 4 new outfits for story mode: Rat Hunter, new Kerpali Warrior male and female, Blackrock Scientist.
We collaborated with Wild Life modder Minervha to bring some of his outfit works officially into the game. These 3 are the latest addition but more is planned to come.

Animations:
Finalized animations for the Raptor enemy.
Work started on a move set for the Max starter melee weapon.
Improved feeling of Maya's jump attack.
Finishing up the last transitions for Max x Sadora minigame.
Worked on cutscene mocap cleanups.
Tested new mocap methods.
Did a few mocap reshoots.

Design:
Reviewed and finalized the work of the last weeks.
Worked on the design for trade mechanics.
WIP trading UI.
WIP game economics to determine the value for buying and selling items, quest reward and item drop pearl amounts, upgrading weapons and armor, etc.
Added UI Icons for all items to the project (They will be replaced by a hired UI artist in the final polishing phase, but do the job for now).
Started setting up the data for all items.
More Combat tweaking.
Added dashes to Feral Lion.
Working on the weapon upgrading system design.

Thank you for all your continued support,

Are you currently working on fixing the built-in VR for the game? I used to use UEVR with it but the current builds have broken compatibility. (I'm guessing too new a version of UE for UEVR to support.)

Those outfits are insane, great job Minervha

Okay wow, a lot to unpack and one of those updatets that's double the excitment. Biggest shout out, it's finally time for the pearl village to get the facelift it needed. Second, the assets for the laboratory and Alpha camp, not only will help make it more and more real, but I also noticed great minds think alike. Why you ask? Because a couple look very similar to things I've been building in one of my maps. A small pic will be shown later tongith in the discord. The way they're built is similar ideas, so great minds are thinkign alike. As always, areas expanded on to explore and new ones get my adventure side racing with excitment ot see what is new with the world map. Getting rid of custom materials and what you can do with them is great including hte news of the combat. None more exciting than the duel weild option and making it work. I know right away who will benifit from this. The gizmo tool will be a big help for sure. And upgrades to weapons, armor, that's good. As well as the game economics for buying and selling items as the ones gather for the recipie could be sold. All of that sounds exciting too. As for the outfits, I hope the Kerpali aren't forgotten. The chinese dress of course is the one out of the three I can see using for New years, next year and beyond. This update I can tell will be one hell of a one in addition to the one new character I;'m looking forward so keep it up

the dev's don't give a shit. they haven't since the very beginning of the game when their full priced build of an entirely unfinished and nearly unplayable game on steam, first released. They care even less now. content release is abysmal. they are literally just milking what they can from Patreon subs and from the looks of their monthly billing, its less than 5,000 USD a month. The High end patreon content and early release content isn't even early release / beta test worthy. its sub alpha release level content with so many problems and hitches, it could barely be called a game at all.

Could we get a knight outfit like this for Shey: https://www.deviantart.com/novagraph/art/Rogue-Knight-616795027
