Sophia delivers yet another awesome yet understated performance in this bloody stabbing scene.

This film is a bit of an experiment. Firstly, I used some different camera settings - not something you'll notice. Secondly, I've been recently working on keeping dialogue going through to death and this is an extension of that.

Just to warn you, the sound recording failed in the opening scene (so maybe the first minute) and I had to use the onboard camera audio, which isn't as good quality. I've done my best to clean it up but it still sounds a little janky. After the first minite it's all good :D

Sophia stars as a gangster, who's been snitching to the cops. Her boyfriend gets home and tells her that the cops raided one of the gang's new warehouses and his friends were killed in the shoot-out. He mentions that the boss thinks there's a rat and that he knows it was her.

She begs for her life but he pulls a knife and they wrestle before he plunges his blade into her belly. Blood flows from her wound as she writhes in agony. She starts to fade quickly and asks to be finished off quickly. He loves her so obliges be pushing the knife into her chest. Sophia's pale shirt turns red as the blood flows. She coughs up blood before passing away in the arms of her lover.

Good acting. Hot outfit. In the constructive criticism department: I'm sure it has occurred to you before; but it's the kind of thing where it's hard to un-notice it once one notices it: There's almost always a cut *right* before a blood cough. It makes me think of blood bugs and how the sausage is made, so to speak.

Thanks - appreciate the love. You make a good point about the blood coughs. It's because the blood is held in the actors mouth so it looks weird cutting from the previous clip where their mouth is open (often gasping, pleading, or moaning) to a clip where they start with their mouths closed and are quiet. So I tend to trim that clip to start exactly when they cough blood. I probably need to work on that transition better. I've got a few ideas on how to do that and have some "victims" lined up later this month so I'll try it then :D
