A New Life 2 (Patreon)

This is exactly the sort of film that I wanted to make when I started this project. Nice compact story, well acted, with emotional impact, good angles, cool lighting, bullets, and blood. And can we just take a moment to appreciate the acting skills on show in this film? 

In A New Life 2, Kasey is waiting for her girlfriend Danni to get home from work at MI6. Danni  arrives and sits on the couch, looking nervy and incredibly tense. It transpires that the lovers concocted a plan to steal a top secret file, sell it to enemy forces, and leave the country and start a new life together with the proceeds. 

The girls think they have got away with it, when Danni's chief crashes through the door - gun drawn. He confronts the women, who try to deny it at first. The chief wants to teach Danni a lesson so he shoots Kasey in the chest and belly. Kasey's bleeding body is thrown back on the couch. Danni desperately tries to save her lover, but she knows Kasey is mortally wounded when she coughs up a lot of blood.

Kasey's life fades in front of Danni, who weeps as her girlfriend dies in her arms. Covered in the blood of the woman she meant to spend her life with, Danni turns to confront her chief - only to get four bullets in her chest and belly. 

In shock, Danni gasps and splutters up blood as the life seeps out her broken bloody body. She dies imagining the life she and Kasey would have had.
