Dec Theme Stream : Escape Attempt (Patreon)

Did a last minute stream before I head home for the holiday! Got some ideas, put them into a straw poll, and the winning result was Escape Attempt! So here we have Maya, in a modern AU!

"Welcome to the Ultimate Escape Room Challenge. As a bonus for attempting this challenge alone, your friend has provided some bonus features to help you in your endeavors to escape! 

First, to assist your stealth and help you avoid the sentries that wander the maze, you have been outfitted with an inflatable silencing apparatus. If you find that you would like a stronger effect, you can compress the bulb to do so. 

Second, two proximity detectors have been included. These detectors will help you determine the distance to the exit; The first will vibrate and increase in intensity as you get closer, and the second will increase as you get farther from the exit. 

Please be advised that, because you accepted the ultimate challenge difficulty, the sentries within the maze will attempt to return you to the maze start where you currently are. 

The current record for locating the exit is 2 hours 18 minutes and 48 seconds. Good luck." 

Maya sighed heavily, and shivered a moment as the "proximity detectors" came to life. Looking around she swore to never lose a bet to Zalyn ever again. 

Meanwhile, Zalyn smirked as she brought the chips and queso in for the group's watch party. She didn't plan to tell anybody that she switched output for the plugs, and that Maya would probably not beat the current record by a long shot.
