An update on the Shibbydex, And Future Plans For It (Patreon)

The Shibbydex has seen a complete overhaul of the backend infrastructure to help with some longstanding bugs and playback problems. It has always been a paramount goal that nothing should take you out of the moment when Shibby is pulling you Down into Trance, certainly not a file freezing on you. Here is a message from the team:

"We have updated the infrastructure including up-to-date security patches and performance improvements. We also reworked the backend code with some performance tweaks and an improved streaming function for Patreon files.

We are now working on updating the frontend libraries with some more focus on performance and compatibility.

These updates allow us to continue the development effort and introduce some new functions in the upcoming future."

The next upcoming big feature that will be coming to the Shibbydex is the long-awaited Playlist section. Which will allow you to sort and customize all your favorite files just as you like them. And as an added bonus, there will be the ability to import and easily share your list with others from our wonderful community.

To enter a new issue simply click the green "New Issue" button in the top right (you may need to register on the site, but it's very simple). Feedback really helps to make the 'Dex better for everyone.
