Our ‘Adopt a Star’ Campaign reaches €100,000!!! (Patreon)

Hello lovely people!

I’m hugely excited to let you know that, since the public launch of our Adopt a Star campaign last night, hundreds more stars have been adopted, bringing our fundraising total to €100,000 so far!!! In just under a week! We are all absolutely over the moon. It means that we can be sure of over half of the chapel paintwork being restored, and I now truly believe that the entire chapel will be restored this year. Thank you all so much! Michael has been working tirelessly on creating a page online, showing all of the stars and their dedications, and I’m hoping to be able to share it with you all within the next week.

This week’s Patreon video will be posted tomorrow evening, so that I can show you all our return trip from Versailles, where we celebrated Philip’s mother’s 60th birthday with a tour of Madame du Barry’s beautiful private apartment. She was the last mistress of Louis XV, and in tonight’s Chateau Diaries you can join us on the tour!

As you can imagine, I’ve been floating all day. Our Saint Joseph Chapel fundraiser has surpassed my wildest expectations and I keep having to pinch myself. Our architect was already delighted with last week’s news - I can’t wait to phone him on Monday with the latest figures! He’s currently working on breaking down the quote into pricing for each section of wall, so that I’ll be able to show you exactly what will be done with the funds raised so far. This is all because of each of you.
