As a seamstress myself, I must say how impressed I am that you did all of that hand sewing. Massive amounts. Your fingers must be so sore. It's a pity you couldn't find your curved needle. That would have shaved a little time off the job. But OH MY! The results are stunning! So satisfying. OMG I couldn't stop laughing when Phillip recieved the tree of birds and squirrels! Philip please use your creativity with those poor unloved creatures! I think you should separate them and reposition them separately or grouped by type. I did love the giggles but please bring a bit of dignity to them.

Scissor search: I guess we now know why the women wore the chatelaines with scissors on the chain, they always knew where they were and I share the same problem when I sew! Good work with the seam ripper too. Well Done All.

What a gorgeous bed crown. As if they were brought together. The Crown matches the bed frame so well. I love it and I love the pinkish red toile. Just gorgeous, glad you did it by hand. I think for getting it just right, it needed to be done by hand. Plus, it is a piece of history, and it would normally had been done that way.
