You and the chateau have brought such joy into my life that to be able to chat live would be lovely.Keep safe during this lockdown and after

Anonymous

Hi Stephanie, live chats would be a lovely idea ... you could then put all of your other ideas into your vlogs which we will be able to see anyway! You don’t need to make to much work for yourself, so this way would keep it simple! Thank you, Susie xx

Anonymous

Live chat would be great!

Anonymous

Stephanie, CONGRATULATIONS on achieving this milestone! 🥳👏🏻 We are thrilled that you’re now going to be able to get the final Chapel window restored and replaced! Getting to see yours and your mother’s reactions to that news was such a sweet and precious moment for us all to share. My wife and I, as well as our three children, are all enjoying your increased video output: from the Chateau Tours to the Quarantine Diaries as well as the reading of The Young Visiters. You have provided some much-needed distraction and laughter. Also, a Live Chat sounds like a fun thing to try. We pray that God will keep all of you happy, safe and well! Sending you all love and best wishes from your American friends in South Carolina!

Anonymous

I too would like a live chat. But quite frankly I enjoy all your content! You are a ray of sunshine😘

Anonymous

Any content you provide is just lovely. I think we all understand how hard you are working right now and don't begrudge you anything! We just want the best for you, your family and la lande 💖

Anonymous

The only problem with live chats is that time zones divide your patrons around The world. I'm. 7 hours later than France.

Anonymous

The occasional live chat would be wonderful, even if we're on different time zones. Please consider posting the chat as a video, so that those of us that miss it can still take part, if only as spectators. So happy to hear about the Chapel's window. I do worry about your day-to-day living expenses since there's no money coming in from guests. I, for one, would not object to you using my Patreon membership (small that it is) to help you through this crazy time. Be well, and thanks for bringing a ray of hope and positivity.

Anonymous

I would prefer videos :) live chats suffers as mentioned under time zone devides :)

Anonymous

Bonjour Stephanie,

Anonymous

Live chats would be wonderful, whatever works for you! Please don’t stress out about trying to start something new, we love you regardless. My heart is full knowing a little piece of me in in the final chapel window. Stay safe and happy.

Anonymous

The biggest problem with a live chat is that there are enough patrons that not everyone could reasonably participate. But I still like the idea, and if I don't get to participate and only watch it later, that's okay, I just like having a personal connection to what you are doing at Lalande. The videos are absolutely wonderful, I love getting up in the morning with the hope of hearing the latest news from France.

Anonymous

Laura of the Garden Answer youtube channel does a weekly Question/Answer video where she reads out and responds to questions that have come in during the previous week. A way to "chat" without worrying about time zones. Anything you have time for is fine with me!

Anonymous

Live Chats ~ Exciting! Yay!!!

Anonymous

It is always such a pleasure to see your videos. I agree with Steve Arnold's input on the live chat, if I'm not available to watch it live I can always watch it later. You might consider a Q&A video to the patron page if a live doesn't work. You are putting so much time into the videos and we really appreciate it, but you also need time for yourself and the things that need to be done at the Chateau. You are such a treasure and being able to assist in the restoration of the chateau is such a joy. BTW, on YouTube when I comment my handle is Gypsy. xoxo

Anonymous

Any extra content is fine with me! Live chats are tricky as others have mentioned, but if we miss it hopefully it can be watched later.I am loving the extra blogs during lockdown. They give us all something to look forward to.

Anonymous

Yes live chat! How fun!

Anonymous

I love the idea of doing a live chat with you. Two thoughts: 1) It might be a bit difficult with your technology... you may need to be out in your wee car in the middle of pasture somewhere to get a strong enough signal to handle it! 2) Depending on the number of patrons that you have you might want to divide them up. so that it is not too unmanageable each week. How about dividing us into 4 groups alphabetically (can you tell I am an ex-librarian??)? That would give each us a a chance once a month for a more personal contact with you. No harm in giving it a try. I do want want repeat what other have said though... just having your regular videos to look forward to during the week has a been life saver for me. I don't want you to stretch yourself too much beyond that.

Anonymous

P.S. I am thrilled that the window in the chapel will now be worked on. I feel so blessed that I have had a part, albeit small, in helping that happen. Thank you so much for what you are doing for Lalande and also for all of us. Big hugs from Calgary (where it is still snowing!!).

Anonymous

As others have commented, anything you decide is fine with me. I too love being a part of the chateau restoration. I also appreciate and love all of your vlogs and videos. It is such a heartfelt pleasure to be a part of such a special group group as this. Stay well and safe 💗

Anonymous

P.P.S. Another thought on the logistics of the live chat... Perhaps we could PM you with a question before our scheduled week and then you could address those questions during the scheduled chat taking turns with each of us? That may make it easier for you.

Anonymous

Hello Stephanie, from Jupiter Florida🤙🏽🌸 The live chats sound fun. Any content you put out is lovely. I’m happy either way. Even with the time zones, maybe save them so those of us who would not be able to participate can at least watch it at a later time🤷🏼‍♀️just a suggestion. Take special care. Aloha🤙🏽🐚🌺

Anonymous

Live chat would be wonderful! I'm in Canada, but I know how to use an alarm. 😉 You're likely the only person I'd wake up at 3am for. 🤷‍♀️ 🤣 ❤️

Anonymous

Me too 🍒 Cherry Bomb! Anything you decide is fine by me🤗 Thank you for the happiness your sunny personality brings to the world 🌞

Anonymous

All of your content is really delightful. Your bring such a nice energy to the videos, and everything you have produced has been really pleasing. It is especially welcome at this time when circumstances confine us. All of your ideas are good, and would be quite enjoyable. For me, I would like a video which focuses upon your father's art. I am quite smitten with all of it!

Anonymous

Live chats might be tricky technology wise & time difference also. Love all your videos & vlogs.

Anonymous

post cards can come anytime and signed by anyone! just do videos as often as you can - its such a great escape from everything!

Anonymous

I am just so happy that you get to do the chapel window with the money that you have raised. I chose to subscribe because your videos have brought me so much pleasure over the last few weeks. As you so rightly pointed out you are such an optimistic and positive person and that alone is enough for me. A little world to escape to when all around us is dire is a blessing. You put so much effort into everything you do that you deserve to earn a wage from it. A live chat is a great idea but I tend to agree about technical issues. Time zones can always be overcome with the live chat being saved if that is the way you decide to go. Would it be much extra work when you are editing your videos around the chateau to do an outtakes video for the patrons? That could be fun to see maybe once a month. The bloopers edition. Whatever you decide I’m happy with.

Anonymous

I agree that live chat would be wonderful, but also understand about the logistics. I am in Phoenix AZ and I would "try" to make the time zone work, but I think a combo of answering pre-submitted questions and live questions will work well. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.

Anonymous

Hi Stephanie...thank you for your update, its wonderful all the work you do to bring us the video blogs. Ýou bring such joy and light into our lives, especially now. I'm happy for you to do whatever works for you and everyone else, either live chats if possible or the patrons videos, they are lovely. Great news about the photos 😊 xx

Anonymous

Kia ora Stephanie, Absolutely love seeing your wonderful home and your creativity and imagination. Like many others, I feel very privileged to get to see what you are doing and share the stories of living in such a beautiful chateau. Do you have time for you and your family without the pressure of making the vlogs? I don't want to add to your workload over and above the work it must take to keep everything running - happy to watch the videos and see the transformations you are making. Nga mihi nui (warm regards) from NZ, xx

Anonymous

Hello Stephanie. Thank you for the update from the Chapel. So delighted that the restoration of the St. Cecelia window is going ahead. As much as I love the sound of the live chat, it could prove difficult to schedule with Patreon supporters living in the Southern Hemisphere............ but I’m happy to go with the general consensus.

Anonymous

I think a live chat would be such fun... and perhaps you could leave the chat up as a video if somehow we can't all make it on time? I have just finished watching today's video and am still smiling. I really enjoy the lovely details of your day - such as, unsuccessfully herding the sheep into a new pasture. Looking forward to anything you decide to add to our 'behind the scenes' stash. Regards, Danielle (aka onedandylion) :)

Anonymous

Hoorah! 👏 can’t wait to see the final stained glass window of Saint Cecile in your chapel. I would like to see a video of the artisan making it. Perhaps she can video herself whilst repairing it and send it to you to edit and upload.

Anonymous

Being able to restore the chapel window is exciting. The idea of video chat is so generous of you. Some thoughts on what I have learnt from my holding Zoom calls with seventy of my clients each week: i) People do seem to enjoy the connection ii) not everyone speaks (but they still say that they feel included) iii) I sometimes forget to record the session - and have decided to have a secret squirrel doing all those technical things that elude me in the moment iv) asking people to submit questions/items beforehand is a good way to encourage the shyer folks to ask what interests them v) on the initial call, we all introduced ourselves, even though a lot of clients already knew each other, I wanted everyone to feel included vi) Even if I am a bit of an introvert, I find it really enjoyable interacting with folks with common interests

Alton Condra

Love from Atlanta, Georgia USA! Anything you decide to do is fine with me. I want you to take the time to take care of yourself, family, friends and La lande. I don't want you to over extend yourself.

Anonymous

Hello Stephanie. Thank you for the update from the Chapel. I am so delighted that the restoration of the St. Cecelia window is going ahead and can not wait to see it. In Australia, we do not have the buildings you have due to us being a young country and I so enjoy your tours of them. I absolutely love your creativity and passion, you inspire me every time I watch you. It is a pleasure to be a Patreon. Keep well

Anonymous

Hello Stephanie! A few years ago I had a dream that I was exploring a new home and found I had a chapel of my very own. Because of that dream, your chapel has tugged at my heart as much as your chateau, and I knew I had to contribute to its restoration even if in a small way. Thank you for your delightful channel. What you have already given me, through it, is priceless.

Anonymous

Perhaps you could do the live chat a different time each week so people from different time zones would all have a chance to ask questions live; then you could post it so everyone could see it regardless of time zone.

Anonymous

So happy for the chapel window! You could do a live chat either via zoom and post the link to it on Partreon or I think you can also do an unlisted live youtube chat,..i think!

Anonymous

I am very happy for my card to be put aside for Michael to sign 😃 I think questions beforehand would be far easier as you might end up with too many chatting together plus you can address the same question once . I just love all the vlogs and hearing of your progress.🥰

Anonymous

Hi Stephanie, I don’t mind if you sign my card. I’m a bit excited to be getting a card by post all the way from La Lande. It will make a pleasant change from the usual bills !!!

Anonymous

Would Love the Live Chat ♥️🙂

Anonymous

I’m happy to get the card now - can’t wait :-)

Anonymous

Can you put my card aside ,I am happy to wait for card xx

Anonymous

I can wait.

Anonymous

I would a card signed by Michael, so I may frame it for my dressing room

Anonymous

Hello Stephanie, I will look forward to your card whenever it comes. With your internet situation, I doubt live chat will work well, I’ve been living this for 3 weeks in large city and it hasn’t been good. You might want to test with a few of your friends first.

Anonymous

Bonjour Stephanie, could I please wait until after the lockdown to receive my card. Merci boucoup, Christine xxx

Anonymous

I think live chat would be fun! 💛🏰💛

Anonymous

I think the live chat sounds lovely! and I agree with Ellen, I will be very happy to receive a signed card from you, it will make the lockdown a bit more enjoyable:) I was planning on coming to Lalande to volunteer this summer, so I hope I can make it in 2021 instead. I hope you are doing well, thank you x

Anonymous

A live chat would be lovely!

Anonymous

Yes, live chat sounds awesome! I'll bring my dog (corgi) :)

Anonymous

Hello Stephanie. You can sign my card in Michaels sted. Also a live chat sounds fun. it does seem you are working very hard on your videos. I am a big fan of the path of least resistance. So if live chat is easiest do that. Or a news letter / quick written message on here might work some times too. Have a lovely day in your paradise. Love from Norway.

Anonymous

Hello! Please can I make some suggestions for videos because I have watched them all and have some questions! Please could we have a video about Jerry and your relationship? I think he’s wonderful and love the snippets about how you all became a family but would love to know more. I would also really like to see a video from a volunteer (I vote Marie!) and their experience, how they felt arriving and what life was like for them at the chateau. I would love mummy to share some of her life too if she was willing. Can you do a video with some older photos of you and family renovating, I loved seeing the ones with the digger. And I cannot wait for your bedroom reveal! 🥰 I don’t want much do i! Haha. Honestly you are getting me through lockdown. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely life and family with us xx

Anonymous

Hello Stephanie - just testing!

Anonymous

Oh good it has worked - have joined today!

Anonymous

Bonjour, Stephanie! Greetings from south Alabama. Your videos are giving me life during the lockdown. Merci beaucoup!

Anonymous

Greetings from Norway Chatelaine, and thank you for your wonderful vlog. I got you as a suggestion in these corona virus times from youtube when I have binged on "escape to the country", So I had a look, and now you are my absolute favourite. All your vlogs are fun, as I am a fan of antiques, history, music, gardens, and all you surround yourself with. Most of all, I really like you as a person, so it is like having an imaginary friend :-) Cannot wait to see the pond coming to life, and the mill. Absolutely love being out walking with you (and your mum) and listen to your chat and look at the scenery...also I found it very exciting when you found that little piece of paper in the loft and one of your followers traced its origins. I have told my eight year old daughter that we will visit this castle in France, but when the lake is back. Exciting that you can now repair the last window in the chapel. A really beautiful chapel, I can imagine how atmospheric it would be to sing there in the evening. I am honoured to be able to follow you and your castle here, and like many others have mentioned here, don't overstretch yourself, we all want you to carry on being happy and not stressed. Lots of love to you, Eili

Bonjour from Oklahoma! I happily discovered your YouTube channel whilst staying at home during these uncertain times, and I just want to say thank you for being such a delight! Your videos have brought many smiles to me, and it’s been so wonderful to be able to “escape to the country” from the safety of my own home. You’ve also given me more places to add to my travel bucket list, and I’m trying to convince my husband that we need to buy a chateau!

Anonymous

Hello/Bonjour from Iowa! YouTube recommended your videos to me recently, and I am SO glad I found you during this unprecedented time with COVID-19. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face, and thank you for sharing your beautiful chateau with us all. You are truly the light in many of my recent dark days. Lalande is a magical place that is brought to life by you, your mother, the elusive Nick, Michael, and all of the wonderful volunteers I have seen watching your videos back. I truly feel like together we are contributing to restore and preserve a piece of history. I hope to visit and stay at Lalande someday in the near future. My husband and I have just bought a home in Cornwall, but I am now trying to convince him to buy a chateau! Please do not overwork or stress yourself too much with putting too much on your plate with vlogs and here. A live chat sounds wonderful, but is not necessary. We love whatever content you provide!

Bonjour Stephanie, Thank you for keeping me smiling during Lock-down here in Glasgow. I absolutely love watching daily life at the Chateau and I am now officially a Patron of Chateau de LaLande .

Anonymous

Bonjour Stephanie, I am so grateful for the insight into your enchanting chateau and lifestyle as a chatelaine. Yours and Isabelle's abilities, charm and charisma shine through the chateau and its grounds. I am eternally grateful for spending time with you.

Anonymous

I just recently found your videos and have been enjoying them so much, I decided to become a Patron. They have helped me become inspired to decorate again and to spend more thought on cooking as well.

Anonymous

I am so excited for the windows. I am also keeping an eye on the Patreon goals...4.3k! Getting so close to the lake goal!

Anonymous

Live chats are great, but I am in Canada - so you are probably sleeping when I am awake and vice versa. Love videos - too bad they take so long to edit, etc.... Keep up the good work.

Anonymous

So excited to become a patron. I wish it could be more. Just catching up o NBC the diaries only discovered them last week!! Keep them coming xx

Anonymous

Stephanie I would love to be able to chat live but it will be the time difference which will be a hinderance seeing I am in Australia. I would also like Michael Potts to sign my card & Mummy as well if you don't mind. Chat or vlog I will enjoy both or any which ever suits you as you work so hard to get all the goings on at the chateau to us and what makes it all the more interesting are the funny bit and your narratives as well

Anonymous

live chat sounds amazing! Lovely to be a patron <3

Laura & Jack

Bonjour Stephanie. A live chat would be lovely ... perhaps Zoom? I am in Canada, and am willing to get up early to attend. Stay well!

Anonymous

Live chats would be amazing. Another thing would be to post your videos earlier , like 1-2 days, for patreons. Many channels do this. ❤️

Anonymous

Good evening! I think a live chat would be lovely. A Q&A, or any form of chat would be nice. I would love to see more of the chapel interior and exterior. And have you explored the area by the lake where the towers might have been to see if there are any foundations remaining? Thank you!

Anonymous

so exciting Stephanie!

Anonymous

Love this! So excited. 🏰🦚🦚

Anonymous

Live chat sounds great!

Anonymous

Your chapel is my favorite thing at the Chateau

Anonymous

The tours were very nice too!

Anonymous

Looking forward to seeing the lovely little chapel renovated. Thank you. Live chat would be wonderful as well.

Anonymous

The live chats are fun. I joined your Patreon account because I felt I owed you a little bit for providing so much happiness, knowledge and entertainment to me. Anything extra is icing on the cake but not expected. Plus, you have so many Patrons now! Fulfilling all of those little extra requests might keep you from doing what makes you happiest and producing your wonderful vlogs. Don't burn yourself out!

Anonymous

I'm so stoked on finally being a patron. I'm currently a student but can't wait until I'm graduated and can afford to go up in patronage tiers! I have a somewhat unlikely but really wished for vlog request: Stephanie, your historic costume episode really tuned me into the whole world of historic costuming. And all the lady-youtubers killing it with historic costume making. It would be cool if you invited the likes of Catherine Hoy, Bernadette Banners, or the woman who does a Stitch in Time to do some costume intensives in such a lovely place. Or if you do another costume for Venice. Love the costumes, can't wait to try one of my own someday...after I learn how to use a sewing machine~

Anonymous

I would appreciate Micheal Potts signing my card, please? Yourself, of course, and possibly Isabelle/mummy.

Jane Nunn

YES! Great idea!

Jane Nunn

I would love Michael Potts to sign! please!

Anonymous

Yes, would love to have Michel sign as well...being a Practicing Roman Catholic, your Chapel is dear to me...... just love your Chapel so very much.... if there is any written history of this Chapel and the makers of the stained Glass.... just a historical short vlog of it is most interest to us....Stephanie you are so kind to ask...
