It's me who thanks you! You can't imagine what a difference this is making to our renovation plans 😊

Thank you! My father loved 20th century tapestry designs, and I have fond memories of getting the train to Paris with him to collect it from the auction's storage facility!

Thank you so much! I've longed for panelling since I moved in 15 years ago, but never thought it would be possible. Now I really believe that my dreams will become a reality 💛

No, there weren't any peacocks here, but we always had them in my childhood home. So I bought them a few years ago, and already I can't imagine Lalande without them!

What a delightful tapestry! I can understand why you would be joyful every time you see it! Thank you for sharing this with us, Stephanie.

Bonjour Stephanie! I am hooked so please never stop posting. Also very grateful for the time and energy it has taken on your part getting this off the ground. I have had a passion for chateaus for going on decades but so far living vicariously through you. A missed opportunity occurred in Czech but alas never giving up. You motivate me in that. Wishing you all the best with Patreon's help. Lois

I think It would be a wonderful idea to have a running narrative in tapestry throughout the Chateau telling a story - a sort of story perhaps of the history and future and of course the raison d'être!

What a beautiful tapestry and how wonderful that it reminds you of wonderful memories of your father each time you look at it.

That tapestry is exquisite. Makes me think of a singular Noah’s Ark line-up!

Lovely! Reminds me of the Garden of Eden.

When in Paris I visited the Musee de Cluny and saw La Dame a la Licorne tapestries. I love the "hearing" one and I think a replica would do well at Lalande. Thanks for letting me belong to your extended family! :-)

Now that lockdown is letting up, could you do some dedicated jaunts around the towns/villages closest to you? I know you've done small snippets in and out of them, but could you do more dedicated vlogs for the areas around you? :)
