What should Nonesuch tinker with in the month of July? (Patreon)

I sometimes have a bit of idle writing time, or simply don't feel motivated to crack on with whatever my current main project is. In those moments, I often pull out something else I've had my mind on and scribble some stuff for that instead. It'll often be a bit messy, the quality/quantity variable, and I'll often go straight to the most indulgent bits, because that's the nature of writing for leisure - but progress happens. And now you get to vote on which project gets this side treatment.

In the case of a split we'll hopefully come to an agreement in the comments section, or I'll cast the deciding vote.

Hilde the New Texan Schoolmarm gets a second chance. She runs the schoolhouse on Big T's ranch (most of the kids are probably his).
