Throwback Thursday: "Come for the music, stay for the muscle" (Patreon)

It's the 3rd Thursday of the month, time for a trip down memory lane.

This is a reedited version of an experiment from back in the day of the old youtube channel. Since I do a little DJing on the side and also know a lot of other DJs, we had the idea back then to upload full mixes with animations of the girls dancing. The idea was to attract music lovers from various genres to the channel. "Come for the music, stay for the muscle".
However, the idea never came to fruition since syncing the dances to the music proved a lot more challenging than anticipated. This first experiment was with Techno, which remains monotonous and "easy" to sync (compared to rock, dubstep, hiphop, jazz etc).
At the time I still had real trouble with the autofocus feature in crowds like this (which is why the footage goes out of focus here and there).
And while this was done on my old computer, to this day I love the lighting of this scene and the model. She has the perfect level of definition, highlighted by just the right amount of shadow and contrast. I'll have to recreate this lighting again some day.
