I didn't even want to do them.

I hate watermarks as much as anyone else, but due to the art being posted outside of Patreon it's something that I had to resort to. It was an inevitability, I know. In fact, it happened the same week I started, but at the very least I was hoping that putting a watermark in this way would at least be of some nuisance or discernment for art thieves either removing the watermark or posting stolen art.

The reason the watermarks will be as conspicuous as they will be is because Hartman's shows are so simplistic and flat in it's lines and colors that no matter where it's placed, be it the surrounding environment or the characters themselves, a watermark can be easily edited and erased with as much as a single color stroke.

Even as it is now, it's completely possible to edit the watermarks that will be placed, but as I've said at the very least I'm hoping that doing so will be even a little bit of a chore. The best possible outcome being that they get reposted with Aizen's name attached.

It just upsets me so much that as my patrons you're having to pay for what others can view for free days or even hours after I post, even if it is just a dollar or two.

All I wanted was to safeguard you all from that impropriety.

None of you would have survived DeviantArt in it's hay day

Do what you gotta! In my personal opinion I'm supporting the person creating content in general! Regardless of what you gotta, it's entirely understandable!

Fine by me, I get it. I saw a few of your works floating around on a RP twitter, so annoying that they do that

You do what you have to to protect your work. It's hard out there for artists.

KOOOOOL

I don't think it will make any difference if you placed a watermark on the artwork or not. These types of people will still save and load the content on some foreign platform anyways, however they should've at least given you credit or provided a link to your Twitter or Patreon. That's all I can say. But you do you.
