Hey, it's been a bit since I left a comment on a video, sorry. This is also going to be a wall of text, Sorry again, I'm just a lore nerd. First of all, great reaction! To add a little context, Every living being born in the world of Arknights (that we know so far) has some animal traits, whether it be feathers, ears, a tail, or even just delving into full anthropomorph. While there is, in fact, racism, repression, and discrimination against specific races in the world based on location, the primary targets of it across the world are actually the people in the white hoods with horns in the scene you covered at 11:46. They are the Sarkaz, a 'race' that consists of all the various races that are based on creatures like Demons, Devils, Gargoyles, Vampires, etc. and are often collectively referred to as 'the devils' and are looked down upon almost everywhere. In the stories current major Arc, a large faction of Sarkaz took over Londinium(Arknights London), and that scene is from that time. Most of the other discrimination, repression, enslavement, and general hatred is actually targeted at a completely different group of people unrelated to race though, the Infected. No matter what race they are, if someone contracts Oripathy, they immediately become categorized as "lesser" by almost every single civilization on Terra. It doesn't help that the Sarkaz are highly susceptible to Oripathy, and finding a non-infected Sarkaz (outside of certain royal bloodlines) is nearly impossible. At 16:42, you are pretty spot on, this little montage there goes through the main story chapters in Sepia showing those that have had a massive influence on either the story or Amiya personally. The colored scenes are of other important characters, but are not fully related to the main chapter scenes, with the exception being Frostnova, the singer of "Where's our tomorrow?", who was one of the biggest influences on Amiya's ideals. The final walk up to the Doctor was really great, and one of the scenes there shows some of those who have passed away in our journey, and they are shown walking in the reflection on the ground, but with the video flipped so they look upright. Anyways, have a great rest of your day!
