Looking forward to see this. Been thinking about getting a Wii U on the cheap to play this.

"Preview copy provided by Nintendo."

Can't wait! But have to...

Quality work as usual... but it would have been interesting to at least hear some sort of verdict/opinion about the part of the game that you are already allowed to talk about. Basically the entire video was just factually listing features, with only the mention of the framerate issues as a critisism at the end and then a "wait for the review to see if we liked it or not". Doesn't have to be much, just a "so far we are impressed" or "we are not convinced yet" would be sufficient.

I've only every played the original Legend of Zelda on the gold NES cart, never touched any other Zelda game. I've got this pre-ordered with a Switch and pro controller, and this little preview I think was perfect to get me more excited to play. The fact that dying comes often due to challenging parts, as well as the fact that Link can use a freaking two handed axe, I'm glad I'm basically starting with this one.

I can't help but being worried. Of course everyone is hyped on the web. But you know what: I was hyped during the first twi hours of Skyword Sword because "Yay new Zelda!" and then never finished the game. It'll be really interesting to know if all this running around doesn't get boring fairly quickly. I always preferred the half-open worlds of Zelda to actual open worlds... However, this was the most interesting preview I've watched so far :)

I'm guessing that any definitive opinion would most likely breach the embargo. It seems Nintendo has been very strict with what journalists are allowed to release early, especially considered a lot of what will be available and working at launch remains a mystery

A damn well written 4 minutes.

I want to watch, but at the same time, I don't want to learn anything new before I play it myself

I didn't play a lot of open world game, but the ones I liked introduced me to great new things like weapons, towns, regions, shops and relatable characters in whatever direction I decided to venture. Each venue was a new thing I learned from this world. The ones I didn't like made me do the same thing with only a few new things to discover and most of the time, the new things were not that great. The vistas are cool for just a few times, but the "things" I'm talking about are the most important. When you don't know where to go next, go to the nearest highest point you can see and do a panoramic camera turn to see if there is anything interesting that you could go to and go that way.

Thanks for not spoiling. I think Damiani is going to be about 10% threw the game by the time march 3rd hits lol

"you will die a lot." GOOD!

He will have finished it. Its Damiani, its Zelda- what else is he gonna do? Eat? Sleep?

Sounds like the Dark Souls of Zelda games.
