On today's episode of Frame Trap, we're thrilled Resident Evil 7 is so gosh darn good. It's not only Resident Evil making us happy. For Honor, Nioh, Tales of Berseria, and more also have us grinning from ear to ear.

Frame trap Mondays are way better than regular Mondays lol

Just a question, are we going to see the time-stamps formatted this way until further notice, or did someone else (Ben usually does it, I assume) make these time-stamps? I like the guest-by-guest one.

It's explained right at the beginning of the episode. We changed the structure for this particular episode. Instead of guest-by-guest, we go game-by-game.

I think this was refreshing to just go game-by-game, but I guess in the future the show could benefit from using both ways every now and then.

What? Only 2.5 hours? Quick episode :P

Oh man... I have not played RE7 and NIOH yet! And I don't want anything spoiled (including mechanics etc..)... I guess I will have to save this for the future...

Any Horizon talk in this? If yes, when?

only an hour in and my hype for Nioh is at PEAK. Best frame trap ever. Edit: Got to the end. Going game by game is great, Ben.

there are no real spoilers for RE7 or Nioh. Maybe not listen to RE 7 if you're worried, but I feel like the Nioh discussion is super helpful if you've never played the game

I listened to the concern for post release For Honor support. Definitely look into the support for Rainbow 6 Seige and rest easy, allies. The season pass is structured the same way. I think Seige is the most quiet juggernaut around. Its massive and well supported. See you on the battlefield!

Did I just hear Jones wanting a For Honor Statue Duel? Hm..... :)

Game by game definitely has a better flow to it. I have never playes Resident Evil before and 7 seems a good place to start but ... Nioh, For Honor, Horizon Zero Dawn and Mass Effect Andromeda.

Absolutely loved Resident Evil 7. Was definitely the most terrifying game I've ever played. BUT, the real way to play this game is to have a good pair of headphones/headset on. The 3D sound in this game is amazing, and their sound design is so top notch that I would be immersed into their world within 10 seconds of resuming my gameplay. There were multiple times that I had to take off my headset because it was just way too intense and I was about to have a heart attack lol. But the reason I bring this up is because the game is not that scary without the headset IMO. If I have people in the room to watch me play, we use our tvs speakers, and the sound design of the game kinda drops in its awesomeness. So, because of this, I actually had 2 playthroughs of this game at the same time. One playthrough was when I was by myself, with my headset on (not VR btw, just audio headset), to have the ultimate experience. 2nd playthrough was with an audience. So my advice, is if you want the best experience, and don't have Vr, get a good pair of headphones/headset. You won't regret it.

Kravenar Games

For HYPE i would totally go for old games like F.e.a.r.

The Video keeps crashing and is unwatchable, does anyone else have the same problem?

I think if I didn't watch Frame Trap at work and only in my free time I would prefer the shorter episodes. Since it helps pass the time at work though I hope to get that 12 hour FT someday.

Everytime someone asked me about RE7 my response was/is 'I'm proud of Capcom'. Too know what as an RE fan I've been through, even though Revelations 2 is really good. RE7 feels like home

Having only played half of the first US Fire Emblem game many years ago with vague familiarity with the popular FE characters since, I tried out Fire Emblem Heroes and quickly realized how much better off I'd be playing actual Fire Emblem games instead of grinding away on a gacha. I'd say that Heroes is only worthwhile to people who've either played all the FE games they could already or never, ever want to spend money.

I actually prefer going by person rather than game at the beginning. This one was fine but I think Ian, bosman, or blood might have interesting or older picks that could get skipped over otherwise.
