Great episode you guys. The fact that everyone got really sad about Moof is proof of great roleplaying. Also, I don't know if this is a comfort to either Pomper or Therese but them making attacks of opportunity probably wouldn't have helped anyway since you can only do melee attacks, not spells.

When Ben said will "Moof recover?" I was like "How can that even still happen, there is no option to "heal" this anymore" so I find that a little strange to end here. Also, call it stupid or whatever but I would have actually preffered if one of the main characters had died and not Moof, they can "respawn" anyway as someone else so.... Another thing that really bothers me is that Moof never leveled if I recall correctly and still it was promised more than once, wouldn't that have changed the outcome maybe even slightly if he had more HP and whatnot? Anyway worst episode untill now, sorry guys, but the reason is obvious why, made up story or not this is not like losing Kuo who in my opinion had little significance whereas Moof is really important since he joined long ago. So unless a spell exist to undo the damage (maybe after killing the murderer) or the dragons can magically fully restore someone and give the blessing to Pomper, we just lost a major character and that sucks big time.

Leveling wouldn't have changed the result at all. There are plenty of spells and items that can help Moof. If the party want him back, he'll come back. I think losing a major character is supposed to suck and I'm glad it's a big deal to people. Moof is my favorite NPC ever, but it's important that he's at risk, same as everyone else.
