yikes, haven't commented in a very long while but Damiani's answer to the reviews question got me really worried. I for one as a working adult don't have time for live streams and find that over time my interest over "in-progress" coverage has greatly diminished. I have patience, I don't need to buy everything straight away just because it's the Zeitgeist. While I can see the appeal by some to get any content, at a fast pace, for a wide net of games, and —dare I say— regardless of quality... I for one are not one of them. Well produced, "final thought" reviews (or as close as it's currently possible in today's age), is one of the few reasons why I'm still a patron of EZA, and would sorely miss the higher quality reviews if they were to be replaced by a bunch of stream edits. I rather get a proper review 2 weeks late that a distracted reaction by a streamer. Even if packaged as a post-stream cut with "looking back" VO, the experience of a streamer trying to entertain an audience will always color those thoughts, and is something I will never relate to when playing on my own, so it lacks value to me.

Oh man, we can't REALLY Think that reviews need to go away, can we? Reviews are the only thing that kept me interested in the content of the people I came to know as easy allies, after being a fan of game trailers. Your reviews have historically been well written, balanced in their opinion and rarely seemed to succumb to the popular opinion or feel like they were carried away by a games marketing/social momentum. The VO from Jones is also a HUGE part of this. As Brad said, that shit is classy and eliminates some of the distraction( in my opinion) that comes from various voices, or varying levels of quality. For example, IGN seems to have people reading their reviews....it's not good over there lol. I hope you guys resist the urge to pump out media on the name of getting something out first or quickly. I firmly believe that consumers find reviewers they trust and always come hear their opinion. Also, the 24 hour news cycle/constant output has a pretty universal and consistent effect of watering down the produced content. Hopefully EZA doesn't start to move that way. Nonetheless I enjoyed the show as usual and I'll be here when you have reviews to share.
