This month we're talking about the movies that are good bad and bad bad!

Catching up on my Reaction Shots backlog - one thing I have to mention as a Montrealer and Dennis Villeneuve fan. Please let me correct your pronounciation of his name!!! The e in "Ville" is silent. So it is not Vill-leu-neuve. It is pronounced "Vill (as in Mill)neuve". It is a bit of a tricky one, as the OE sound in french in "neuve" doesn't exist in english.

Will continue to point out that anything beyond an basic theater that shows major movies is an privilege and everything in LA is an Privilege so theater experience is literally nothing special if you already have an 5.1 surround sound at home.

Well, I'll just counter that with the fact that people living in apartments like many of us simply can't crank the volume on a sound system like that. Not to mention, everything I watch at home is on a tiny laptop. So there is no home alternative that can get close to the big screen for us. (And I still don't think a home 5.1 system really does the trick.) -Bloodworth

I would absolutely disagree with this sentiment. Movie theatres and their experiences are absolutely a worthwhile moment. Like Blood said, I can't enjoy a movie at home the way I would in a theatre. It has its own special magic and is a treat every time I get to go there.
