This is a weird one!  I also wish I had spelled SYNTHENNING with one fewer N's.  Oh well. Can't win em all.  Hope everything is going well for you!

THE SYNTHENNING - EASY UPDATE 20

Ian sings about Companions, then plays some music about video games with Justin Yngelmo and Tamara Bruketta!

Keep the beard from that intro, Ian.

Well this is just jolly as all hell. Awesome, dude. Keep it up!

If you yourself call an episode of this show "weird" then it's gotta be goooooood.

Tamara is great.

The song fits the game really well. I would feel very uncomfortable roaming the facility with such background music.

While the last episode was far superior, I kind of like those improv-episodes, too. Would not mind having a well-scripted and produced episode (like last week) every other week, though - with some improvised vintage Ian artsy stuff or "let's just walk and talk" epsiodes in between ... :)

Deus Ex teaches us not to trust filthy synths! Or was it the other way around?

This is so LA.

Don't read the YouTube comments. Don't trust their lies. Just an idea, troll those that want Ian's generic game news show by making one that has a They Live spin to it.

I wanna see an Easy Allies band with Ian on keyboard, Huber on clarinet, Brad on guitar (or is it bass?). Do any other allies play instruments? That would make an epic Easy Update

This reminds me of that one time when me and my friends did a shit load of ecstasy... I feel like Ian is in the same boat right now.

Love seeing you and your friends' undiluted creativity on display. What I feel I must really comment on however, is that T. rex art....... Look at that T. rex!

Absolutely terrible, unwatchable. Ian you should really as yourself what the hell are you doing? I don't expect you to change from some asshole posting a nasty comment, but do it for your damn company. Do it for your fellow coworkers.

While I really don't like the tone and harshness of your comment, I somewhat agree with the basic gist. I think Ian could make GREAT episodes on a way more consistent basis if he put a little more effort and focus into some of them. I really don't like it if people take "it is art!" as an excuse for lack of effort or objective quality of production. The original songs he writes for each episode are usually pretty nice. It's the ostentative "I don't care if this actually turns out any good" improv stuff that is very hit-or-miss.
