Trigger warning: If you’re sensitive to hearing about intensive care, emergency medicine, cognitive decline, etc. this might not be the live episode for you. I’m not going to show photos or play audio, but I’m aiming to be a bit more forthcoming than I’ve been about the unpleasant parts in the past few weeks.

I miss my live Monday morning Cupsters, is the thing. It’s been 1 month (!) since Milo went to the hospital on Super Bowl Sunday. He's out of the ICU and doing better each day. I’m comfortable enough now to discuss some of the less attractive details of his condition and the absolute nightmare that has been my life for 4 weeks. So come with questions, no matter how seemingly odd or taboo, and I’ll do my best to be honest while also respecting the privacy of Amanda and Milo the super hero 2-year-old made of steel. If you leave questions below, I probably won’t have the time to get to them.

Buckle up. Keep those tissues handy. I will likely cry at least once. It’s been a bumpy ride. I’d like to get this inevitable discussion out of the way before we party super hard next week. I’m still ironing out my commitments during EZX but I promise you I will be there the second the event goes live, and it’s going to be an absolute unit of a week. Thanks, allies! L&R!

- Brandon (Milo’s Dad)

As I’m on my 9th year as an Anesthesia Tech at a pediatric trauma hospital and about to graduate with a degree in game design (currently deciding between taking an offer at a major San Diego studio or developing my own independent studio), thank you Jones for keeping me company through countless shifts.
