Ok Jones, no more questions about Wales. As a fellow Batman fan, is there a story you'd like to see that hasn't been done yet? The Telltale game looks great, but it just looks like a slightly different variation on other stories we've seen before. I've always been curious to see a more expansive story about how Bruce Wayne becomes Batman - the only information we've ever really gotten is "he travelled the world for seven years, then he went back to Gotham". I'd love to see exactly what Bruce got up to in those seven years, how about you?

Jones,is there any equipment your looking to purchase in the future? I feel you would benefit from a better streaming camera. Also thoughts on Brandon Plays FFVII before the remake is released? maybe with and Ben and Brad which they could use the learn about the editing side of things. Would also take additional pressure off you.

Brandon reminds me of my son. They both love Disney Infinity, Grappling Hooks, Batman and open world games. It's endearing. He's like a ten year old inside a grown man's body. I wonder if he's also into sharks and dinosaurs, lol.

Not sure I like the FB group idea (at least for now). Early on it was easy to find where everyone was hanging out when I felt like hanging out. It's gotten a bit crazy as to where everyone is between Twitch chat (even when you guys are offline), Discord, EZA forums, the GAF thread, Uneasy Allies subreddit, etc. I think it's only an issue right now becuase, as you alluded to, the base isn't big enough yet to support meaningful interaction on so many different social spaces. Once the base reaches a higher number, it'll be fine - people will go to the outlet they prefer and there will be enough allies to populate each. Already it's starting to feel like we're getting too spread out as a community for how big the community currently is. Love & Respect. EDIT: Had to come back after finishing the video. A+ on the Amanda segment Brandon. She had me cracking me up and it's great finally being able to put a face to the often mentioned name.

God bless you, Brandon, for pronouncing Willamette correctly. As a lifelong resident of the Willamette Valley here in Oregon (and graduate of Willamette University to boot), Dead Rising's misappropriation of the word, and insistence on an incorrect pronunciation is rather annoying.

I've been in a similar situation where balancing administration, marketing, infrastructure and creative is an issue. It's a difficult position to be in and time management seems impossible some days. As much as I love Cup of Jones and its "State of The Union" format, I think we'd all understand if this eventually phases out. As for now, keep up the great work, Jones! Btw, love the Aperture Science mug this week.

Brandon, In the quest for reaching the studio $50k tier have you thought about doing more focused fund raising streams or events. I like that the patreon promotion is not a heavy emphasis in shows and live streams. But I think It would be good to do something every other month or so events. I've seen like Maximilian's stream he does giveaways and people that are subs get more chances. Maybe for EZA being a patreon increases your chances for a prize from the fundraising event.

Disneyland isn't a boring answer at all - or at least if it is, I'm super boring with you. I would love to see some kind of game where the lands are worlds, the attractions are levels, and you have to adventure your way through, or a virtual walkthrough of Disneyland/WDW at different eras. (or something that actually delivers on the darkness of the Epic Mickey concept art, but I'm sure we'll never see that.) thanks for answering!

Hey Mr. Jones. Thank you for taking not just one, but BOTH my questions! For the next episode, I want to ask: Are you or any of the Allies considering putting together a fairly-regular update on production for the community or the Patrons about the status of current videos? For example, "We're working on X amount of reviews, Game Sleuth is still going, etc." With Brandon Plays Pokemon coming to a close, I thought this would be both helpful in keeping us informed aside Cup of Jones and fill in the gap (if you so choose). Also, WHERE do you get negative comments? YouTube?! All of you are super jolly and I can't imagine anyone who takes the time to watch EZA feel negative. That's the internet I guess. Stay Easy fellow Ally. P.S. Loved Mrs. Troop on the show, and yes, "Still a Line." Love it. Want it. ;-)

Brandon, have you considered the possibility that you may have to cut down on streaming in order to more quickly produce content like reviews/retros/etc? It seems as though many of the games streamed are older and it must eat into the allies' time. Do you have a method for how you prioritize streaming vs. producing content?

Brandon, have you never tried Namco's Disney Magical World games for the 3DS? They're Animal Crossing lifestyle-type games that takes place in a very Disneyland-like environment with a castle and different lands where you do stuff like run a cafe to attract Disney characters, go on adventures in different lands like pirates, Hundred Acre Wood, etc. and of course collect stuff and customize your character. If you're interested, I recommend the first game over the second and it's bound to be cheap by now since it came out 2 years ago.

Asked this on youtube too because I wasn't sure where you pull the comments from, but... Does the fact that you like to be able to read and respond to all the comments for these videos contribute to your decision to keep Cup of Jones Patreon-exclusive? I'm sure if you opened it up to the general public you'd get more comments then you could manage, so do you ever think about what you would do if enough people back the Patreon to make keeping up with the comment impractical?

Something I've noticed on a lot of Easy Allies shows is the mention of WereHogs as a reward for smaller bets. I assume these are a Sonic reference, but do they have any meaning beyond bragging rights? Is someone meticulously tracking the number of WereHogs won by everyone? It seems like the kind of thing Kyle would do. I kind of imagine them like coins in Mario games, where once an Ally earns 100 WereHogs they get some kind of special reward. Thanks for all the great shows you guys do!

Have you read the recent Disney Infinity email regarding the timelines? It discusses closure of online versions of the game and community features? Would love to hear your take on that considering that I've been a big Disney Infinity fan and always tune in to Toy Box Tuesday. :(

I wish you guys didn't literally HAVE to be in California to do your jobs, I understand with all the connections and events and things you should be close by to get to... You could buy a warehouse and completely renovate it to your needs as well for the money you're making out here or really anywhere else honestly. Think about that warehouse rental. Damn shame, understandable, but it's nice to think about.

I think you guys should really consider the studio even if you don't get to that 50k. The studio would make things look really smooth for your audience, especially when you guys cover big events or shows. Also regarding about other interests , that would have been really convenient to use the 2nd podcast as a platform for this. I don't see the point of having 2 podcast in a week on video games, the other podcast could been about anything else.

Hey Mr. Jones have you seen the two Resident Evil animated movies? From what I can gather you're not the biggest anime guy, but you do seem like a big RE fan and these movies are canon and I'd like to hear you opinion on them if you've seen them. If you haven't it may be fun to sit down and watch them either solo or with the allies and then share you opinion on them before RE7 launches.

I like every Cup of Jones.... I have no problem seeing slimmed down episodes if you feel like some weeks allow less content or time to apply to an episode.... I have been working in the game industry for about 10 years (EA, Funcom, Square). Unfortunately, I have been out of work for the last few years, however, a few months ago, I decided to learn C-sharp programming and Unity Engine... I have since made my very own first solo game! My question is the following : Would any of the allies be interested in a free copy of my game to play it? Its a first person adventure with about 12 minigames... it is the culmination of all I have learned with the engine as a small tech-demo... It is non-profit and does uses a few unlicensed music (Not sure if that would be an issue). The game itself lasts between 15 to 30 mins from start to finish so it would not be a huge stream... just curious if anyone in the team would be interested... and if yes, how can i send you the links? :)

Great episode Brandon and it was great seeing Amanda making an appearance too. So random idea (might be a bit late notice), do with it what you will but with the olympics strating next week, I was wondering if you guys had thought about maybe doing an EZA video game olympics of sorts? I just thought since the tournaments you guys do always tend to be fun, that this might be a fun way of doing some, if it was possible. Over the course of the 3 weeks that the olympics are on, you could have a series of simple straight elimanation style (to allow you to get through more games) mini tournaments, where the allies face off across different genres eg. fighting games, an FPS, a racing game, Rocket League and of course other sports games ( I know many fans might not be into sports games but I'd hope the spirt of a tournament might outweigh that). Yeah so that's pretty much it, like I said I know it's probably a bit short notice and might be hard to organize, but I just said I'd at least mention it. :)

Brandon, active duty US Navy doc here, just shipped overseas for the next two years. Wanted to let you know that in a fairly tumultuous time, EZA podcasts and streaming content are the one stable thing I have brought with me from my life in the states. On behalf of at least one (probably many many more) active duty military allies, thanks to you and all the EZA crew for what you do.

Sounds cheesy, but it kinda broke my heart that y'all(Yes, I'm from Texas) take negative comments so hard. You guys are doing great. I love the down to Earth atmosphere of the show and the honest conversations. Frankly I think other places should be more like EZA. Keep on keepin' on!

I got some technical questions for you Brandon since you do alot of editing. I previously worked a bit before with audio/video and wonder what your personal preferences for codecs are. For audio I tend to gravitate towards FLAC for archiving when space is not an issue, AAC when it is, with 48 kHz preferred. For video I love x264, but am starting to experiment with HEVC, with the whole thing in a Matroska container. Also any thoughts on bitrates or 8-bit vs 10-bit? Have you ever considered hiring interns? I know it's something ScrewAttack and other have done before and as someone who may want to consider getting into a gaming journalism career I think it could be a great way to help out both aspiring new journalists and your overworked selves as well.

I've noticed when you allies talk about and discuss video games you still use the 10 point rating system and not the 5 star system you use for your reviews. Why is that? Does everyone not agree with the new system and not have faith in it? It's just i've noticed that i'm and surprised you don't use it, or if you do very rarely.

Brandon, I have a beagle named Baby. She's a very friendly dog but like all dogs she barks at neighbors in their backyards. One day I caught a neighbor spraying her with a water hose. I ran outside and confronted the person, telling them politely to not do that. They didn't say anything back to me, I could see them through the fence and I said, "I see you, do not spray my dog, do you understand?" I heard nothing back, I thought about cursing but held my temper back. My question is: What would you do if you saw your neighbor spraying Sophie with their hose?
