This week on Tabletop Escapades, Law's war in Hethensberg ends and the rest of the party gets into trouble on the ship. Will they manage to make it ashore? Will Law survive? Find out in this nail-biting episode!

It's definitely another transitional episode this week in a lot of ways. Things are changing and I think those changes are leading to something really, really good. As always, I hope you all agree and feel free to leave your feedback. I read everything!

A heart rending episode if there ever was one

Huber had 5 weeks to come up with a plan...and that was what he came up with.

Glorious episode. I'm so sad though!

I expect some very loose interpretations of what it means to be Lawful Good in the upcoming episodes.

I think Law is Lawful Good, and he has done some questionable things in the past.

Not for anything, during that whole battle I don't think Law threw one dart! It all could have gone different if he "nat 20-ed" a dart into the troll's eye or something.

Two things you never want to do or have happen in D&D; Falling and/or Swimming. They will kill you instantly. Also if you have to do either always remember to take your armor off. Armor makes these things much much worse and you are more likely to die with it on. On taking twice the amount of damage of your Max HP, a character's body is destroyed. I am pretty disappointed that Huber is still so random in his actions. He is literally just playing the same character. I can get that RPing is kind of hard, but come on. Think a bit more.

The woes of DMing and having people switching the narrative..... It takes a lot of imagination and diversity in thinking... The fact about Huber's character right now is it could literally unarmed and only clothing equipped. As he was stowing away his gear could be elsewhere. Also whilst hidden from the crew he fed on rats and having someone forever mentioning a cat never took much notice of the dwindling rat population. Law never had them check his landing point if I had been thatch or hay bales or a fiery wooden shack it would have slowed him somewhat.... He might have died from burns or smoke inhalation but that would have been a seriously silly thing to die from after the heroics

Rest in peace Law, beautiful death. Maybe I will try to do a drawing to remember him but I am very bad at it so who knows. And it wouldn't surprise me if "Pomber" dies at sea in the next episode, could be the fastest death ever of a new character ;)

After the group find about about Law, I hope they encounter Pepe so they can enact justice on him for what he did to Law.

Law, may the Valkyries take you to Valhalla and your shield be added to its ceiling. Let us raise our drinks to bid welcome to another warrior to its golden halls. The ironic thing about this episode was that I was watching some YouTube footage from a cancelled game this past weekend and this happened. Please only watch it after the episode.<spoilers>https://youtu.be/_Vn6dt6Y7Rc?t=341</spoilers>

Today at work, in my quiet cubicle farm, I had to restrain my laughter at many points in this episode. So many hilarious and amazing moments, great work everyone! Ben, you must be applauded for your creativity in dealing with the outlandish choices that are made by such a rowdy crew. I look forward to this show every week - it always puts a smile on my face.

Pomper better have some darts....

Love the antics, but in some ways, they lose meaning when they compose the majority of the episode. I know that the crew is just doing what they do, but I think Ben deserves a bit more investment in the story from the rest of the group. Some of the crazy stuff drives the story forward/makes sense - Law's launching out of the catapult was crazy, but it could conceivably have allowed him to escape almost certain death. Other stuff - like Yogalla launching magic missile at Pomper - just seems unnecessary, and something that Kyle probably could have surmised would distract the team from moving forward. All the same, really enjoying the show. Love and respect!

Meanwhile, Kuo is collapsed, dehydrated and dead right next to a pond since he couldn't see it with his dead eyes.

Eh, they're roleplaying. Sure the intended plotline is fine and good, but the characters all have their own goals and ideals too. Yogalla doesn't get to consider the fact that this dragonborn is Huber. Kyle's just a slave to the RP :P

Can we get more appearances from sparky Brad?

Anonymous

I'm pouring out some grain in memory of him.

I think the biggest issue with moving the story forward is that none of the characters have a single reason to hunt the NGs. Even now, why do any of them care about following the wizard? For a scroll? There isn't a compelling reason to push the crew in a single direction thus everyone moves in their own way. It also didn't help that Pomper was introduced on the fly. It is great to give these guys room for creativity but there also needs to be some structure as well. This is by far my favorite video series by EA. I don't mind if it will always be a wild, untamed story. It's just unfortunate that we won't see more of the world and story Ben created at this rate.

Should we start drawing up a tombstone for Pomber as well?

Thorfkin

Ben, my brother and I both think it would be awesome if you turned Law into some kind of reanimated Nightingale zombie boss that the new group of allies must face at an indeterminate future event. He was an awesome character!

GREAT EPISODE! 10/10
