We made it to Thanksgiving! Some of the allies have already packed up their bags and headed home to see their families. This week’s podcast will be early and likely weird. The luxury of taking a break is mostly provided by you dedicated Patrons, so as we approach the final month of 2021, let me say thank you for your continued support. No two years have ever been exactly the same since we started this enterprise, and I’m sure 2022 has much in store that is impossible to predict. It’s a comfort knowing that we’re heading into this uncertainty together. That’s just one of the many EZA things I’m thankful for.

Hey Mr. Jones! This may be announced (or even published) by the time you get to this question, but almost two weeks ago, a tweet came across my feed asking if the announced Resident Evil Village DLC would be a Lady Dimitrescu prequel. So, I have to ask: Is EZA producing a Betting Special for the Game Awards? Or was this tweet spawned from a tangent during a stream I missed? Either way, wouldn’t say no to a Betting Special (since EZA typically doesn’t do one for the Game Awards for a variety of reasons). This also reminds me because it’s getting to the end of the year, I have another question for you next episode about specials EZA produces. But until then, as always, thanks a lot for reading and have a wonderful rest of your day! Cheers! P.S. Per your assumption last week, no sir, Happy Gaming brought up how games are time intensive in being created. P.P.S. I hope you, your family, the Allies and all their loved ones had a wonderful Thanksgiving! P.P.P.S. Milo is sprouting up like a weed! The howling was ADORABLE. QUESTION: Inspired by a (to me) random tweet across my feed a couple weeks ago: Is EZA producing a Betting Special for the Game Awards? Or was the tweet asking if the coming Resident Evil Village DLC would be a Lady Dimitresu spawned from a tangent during a stream I missed?

I just wanted to say not getting a spoiler mode is fine :) I got a comment from not only you but Amanda and Milo as well! I'm more than satisfied :)

No question, just a comment to say thanks you YOU and all the other Allies for being here for us, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health =) You all really do touch so many lives on so many wonderful ways. Thank you.

Hey Jones, there has been lots of big properties coming out in the last few months (Eternals, Ghostbusters, Dune, Shang Chi, Guardians of the Galaxy, What IF... etc etc). Are any Spoiler Modes planned soon? They seem to have been aside for other shows.

Jones here's something really cool that made its way today but doesn't seen to be getting a lot of buzz at least not now, its basically like a podcast between Reggie, Robbie Bach, Ed Fries, Peter Moore and Bonnie Ross that's 45 minutes long and it was super interesting. Maybe something you'd want to watch or discuss on a future podcast. Love and Respect! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tadtqchbbh0

Hi Jones, Happy belated Thanksgiving. I was thinking about Starring Role. In the previous podcast you mentioned that Cranky is a character that gets brought up a lot. Have you thought about the possibility of making a list for podcast patrons of who has starred in what role previously so that when one popular character inevitably gets chosen, they’re not used with a high frequency? The method could also work with movies so you don’t have repeat films being brought up. On a side note, I was thinking that it could be cool to eventually do some sort of Starring Role Oscars episode or bit for the podcast. This could be something to lead up to when you eventually decide to change out the opening segment, or maybe just something to do once every couple months. I didn’t want to insinuate that I felt the segment should begin coming to a close, but just wanted to throw the idea your way to get your thoughts on it as well. It’s always fun to have an opening segment have an anticipation factor for listeners from episode to episode. Hope your holidays are going awesome, Love and Respect!

Kia ora Jones long time no message. I Don’t normally message to have a whinge but I need to get something off my chest. Have there been talks about have the q&a return to zoom? I am only saying this as I have started Novembers Audio and I am finding it unlistenable due to people talking over each other, yelling and up and down audio. Sorry if it’s an over the top moan. Other wise I am loving the output from you all this year. Till next time merry Xmas and happy new year.

Heya Jones, I know, right? Frankly, I'm still reeling. But if Easy Allies were to choose their favorite lyric from the man who was arguablly the most important and indisputably the most brilliant figure in American musical theatre, what would they choose? Personally, for wordplay, I've always loved, "Tasks unachievable, mountains unscalable, if it's conceivable but unavailable." But "Stop worrying if your vision is new/Let others make that decision. They usually do./You keep moving on." is probably the one I think about the most. ps - Just an interesting article that turned up recently: https://ew.com/article/1994/06/17/stephen-sondheim-goes-gaming/
