All good Ben the Man, IIRC (if i remember correctly) you're pretty good at street fighter, any possible way we can play some Marvel vs Capcom 2 or Capcom vs SNK 2 or street fighter 3 somehow? CvSNK 2 can be played over emulators and as for SF3, I got a PS3 we can play it on. Or is it on PS4? I'm no pro or anything but I'd love to play vs you sometimes to see how good you are at Street FIghter. As for Street fighter 4 or 5 I haven't played it, but if you have it, I can try and get it and play vs you online sometime. Only problem is, i let my best friend Jae have it since his broke down over some HDMI issues. But i can always go to his place to play vs you on it if we plan it out. I've been a patron since the start and have been a fan of EZA since the GT days and I used to love watching invisible walls and the GT Podcast after yall switched up to Defy Media and all that BS goes down, and I watch every episode of Frame Trap and the EZA podcast. I gotta say one one last thing, after Bosman left you were always my 2nd favorite ally and 3rd is Ian and then Damiani but now you're my #1 and so my top 3 is now You, Ian and then Damiani. Anyways I try to contribute to for Frame Trap whenever I'm able and about to watch this podcast now. So take as long as you need and don't ever worry about posting late, I look forward to seeing new episodes all the time. Take care to you and all the other allies. Greetings Allies, The Last Of Us [TLOU] is my favorite game of all time and if asked, I would also say that it doesn't need a remake. However, with all due respect, I think you guys are jumping to conclusions about what the remake of TLOU is going to be. The word "remake" tends to get used quite liberally in games journalism. I don't think that TLOU is going to be remade to the same degree as Resident Evil or Final Fantasy VII. Remember, Shadow Of The Colossus was remastered for PS3 and then remade for PS4 in a completely direct, faithful fashion. If I had to guess, I would say that TLOU is simply being remade using Part II's assets, and will likely be bundled with an overhauled version of Part II, the same way that the Spiderman remaster was included with the "ultimate" version of Miles Morales. I could absolutely be wrong, but I think we should all reserve judgement until we see what TLOU remake turns out to be. Love & Respect, Dan

Love LOU and LOUII, but instead of remaking Last of Us I'd love to see some new smaller stories set in that world. Maybe expand on some side minor characters 4-5 hour games, or introduce new characters and settings.

They never claimed that it was going to be an overhaul like FF7R or RE2R. They actually implied the opposite. Go to 01:36:29 (and maybe listen to the rest of the podcast). Also, your comments about the usage of 'remake' in games journalism makes no sense. What was the point that you're even trying to make?

I can understand not feeling the need for a TLOU remake, but I'll never understand this huge negative reaction. By time of release it will be two gens and 10 years old. Demon's Souls remake is not that far off of this. The Ratchet and Clank for PS4 was also a remake of a 2 gen old game that also had a one gen prior remaster. The biggest differences are what, that the PS5 happens to be BC? That TLOU is too successful? Sony has had so much success following this exact pattern with their most beloved games, it's bizarre to suddenly tell them, no, that's not what people want is just silly.

It's getting really tiring hearing people complain about ports and remakes that they're going to buy anyway. Speak with your wallet. I'm not mad about the Last of Us remake. I loved the Last of Us. I don't plan on playing the remake. That easy.

I watched the recommended Drew Vin Diesel video and I think its a generational divide to be honest. The video calls Vin Diesel weird and cringe but it feels like the presenter just went out of his way to try to tar and feather.
