SOPHIA! Gidorah IS from space in King of The Monsters! They even call him an alien.

That Milly Bobby and Dennsion storyline did not need to be there. They wanted some through-line from the last movie, but it honestly felt they have made 3/4 of the movie and did a Whedon and decided they needed some light-hearted shenanigans thrown in. Really felt disjointed and weird. Amazing CG of course...a 6.5/10 for me.
