I love Huber's point on the uniqueness of each FF entry, I'm not a massive FF fan and it's partially admirable how each game can be considered a "series" onto itself and that leads to the polarisation of views towards each new game - I'm crazy interested in what FF16 looks like whereas others are turned off by the shift to real time but maybe in the future they'll go back to the pure turn-based approach. And it's why compared to other long-running series like Call of Duty and Asassin's Creed (to a lesser extent) - FF won't oversaturate itself because each game has key differences.

Great episode, but the comment about backlash from NMS bugged me. Firstly, it's an obvious point to make that crazy people on the internet go way too far with malicious comments. Secondly, Sean Murray's blatant lying prior to that game's release is unparalleled in this gaming generation to a point of criminality. The guy said there was multiplayer in the game when there wasn't; that's clearly going to inflate sales. While I don't think Sean is a bad guy, his marketing is probably the most deserving thing of criticism of the generation, definitely 2016.
