We finally got to touch the PS5 and Xbox Series X with our bare hands, so how do we feel about next-gen now? We also cope with perhaps the nastiest Cyberpunk 2077 delay yet, contrast Sony’s latest quarter financials with its personal next-predictions, and say goodbye to the Nintendo Partner Showcase series of 2020.

I’d like to imagine this was someone’s first EZA podcast, and their first impression of Huber is “that guy that wipes things down with diapers.”

I'm a little shocked that you guys forgot to mention the touchpad functionality in The Last of Us Part II where you strum the guitar with the touchpad!

Correction: God of War didn't get a new 60fps mode on PS5 in the latest patch. The mode already exists on PS4 Pro. But because the PS5 is more powerful, it will finally reach 60fps (probably most of the time)

I hope we see blanket improvements on PS5 like we can clearly expect with Xbox Series. Im excited for embargo dates to pass!

I was surprised by the comparison between taking a day off work and ditching class. I'm not sure if this is a cultural difference or some other case of crossed wires. In the UK at my work I get 25 days of paid holiday every year, plus essentially unlimited sick days (medical note required after 7 consecutive days). If we get to the last few months of the year and I haven't booked at least 20 days by that point I'll get an email from HR basically forcing me to book it immediately. This is fairly typical for many European employers. Especially in a year like this where people are not spending their holiday days on things like trips abroad it seem totally reasonable that they might instead decide to use them on things like playing an anticipated game on the day it comes out. Privileged, of course, but nowhere near as unreasonable as Huber seemed to make out. L&R

In the US paid time off isn't even given to most people. Many lower end jobs don't give it at all and it can be very difficult to take time off even if you do have it.

Especially after Jones asking if Naughtydog ever did anything cool with the touchpad.

The idea of Cyberpunk being less than a 10 out of 10 and what that might mean given the expectations and delays has crossed my mind
