How does A Realm Reborn hold up in 2020, and what impact do the new adjustments have on the overall experience from Patch 2.0 through Patch 2.55? 

This is a video I've been working on for the past 3 weeks as part of my efforts to continue to make a short(ish)-form, produced video roughly each month. Thanks to Blood for helping with the back and forth notes on the script and edit, and Ian for assisting with the graphics for the title and thumb. I also decided to make this one (and probably the rest) Patron Exclusive for 2 days, so enjoy!

The Luminous Productions video made me think that I'd love to see Damiani tackle something like this for XIV, so this is great to see! L&R

Great video. Resubbed a couple months ago. Was finishing ARR content (around patch 2.2 quests) when this patch dropped. From what I could tell, not much content changed in patches 2.2-2.55. Having flying for that last little bit alone made a huge difference though. The worst part about ARR were the constant quests to go back to Waking Sands just to chat and then be told to go somewhere else. Having Minfilia be locked behind 2 seperate gates is ridiculous.

Playing through ARR for the first time this month and I found this to be a great video mirroring my experience. Very solid game, impressive considering where it started but it still has narrative pacing issues

Nice, I got into FF14 about a year or 2 ago and have generally really enjoyed my time with it. All I can do now is shake my cane at all the kids who have it easy! Back in my day we had to do ALL the fetch quests~!

Also I'd love to see a Vana'diel revisited with Jones and maybe even you if you wanted to try and play FF11. That or we just try and get Jones to squeeze in some FF14 and see if it does anything for him XD
