We recently got more details about the Mafia III trilogy and Valorant's impending launch date. Both of these are ignoring marketing conventions, but will they both find success? We also ponder what could become of a Code Veronica Remake and a System Shock 3 made by Tencent.

Shout outs to the greatest players guide of them all--Earth bound! A reminder that it was put up for free (and legal!) by Nintendo themselves. You can check it out here: https://www.nintendo.co.jp/clvs/manuals/common/pdf/CLV-P-SAAJE.pdf Even if you aren't an Earthbound fan take a look at the production. It's truly one of the best. Lastly shout outs to Ben for holdin' it down for the FGC in that Evo talk. Excellent work all!

Are you okey Ben ? You look more tired in every video i see you in.

You need to play Mafia 1 to understand who Tommy Angelo is so I feel like it's quite weird that they've released Mafia 2 remaster before Mafia 1, when you kinda need that information if you are playing the second game.

Hi Jones. Just a personal thing here. I love the games and bits of the podcast. But if there are rules, they should be kept. For instance, in remade, remaster, reintroduction if you let the panel not choose a game for each solution, it's just not as fun. What makes the games something good is that people must make the choices, they must play the game. If not, it's not a game at all. Maybe this is just me, maybe i'm picky, but for me it's what make these segments fun and different from the rest of the discussion. Love and respect.

A tiny correction: Stadia is not a "custom PC" but rather a custom Linux system. More detail, if you are interested: it is rather complicated to bring a game to Stadia, since you not only need a Linux/Stadia version of the application aka. game, but also a Vulkan renderer to actually render your game. If your game was originally developed using DirectX 11/12 or OpenGL etc. as a renderer, this is a lot of work. Engines like Unreal make it easier, but it's never just a "push of a button". Using a different renderer usually also means, you need to convert a bunch if not all of your assets (e.g. shaders) in order to work for that renderer. Stadia also has its own peculiarities and requirements I am not allowed to talk about in detail, but let's just say: even if you happen to have a Linux version of your game that uses a Vulkan renderer, it's still a lot of work. I hope that was interesting and does not come across as "game developer-splaining". :)
