Mysterious Monsters is taking the month off, but Jason and I got together to talk about how the show came to be, the bumps along the road, and a little bit about where it's going!

Hope you enjoy!

Absolutely love the show! Huber is great. The intro music always get stuck in my head. I often bring the trickster questions to test my friends. Would be interesting to se more behind the scenes with tech and maybe someone filming the control room and the setup while a shoot is ongoing. The EZA is really something else imo, and Mysterious Monsters is a great example of that, with all your theatricals and music and games not just videogame streaming content. ❤️ Much love to all of EZA, little baby Troop Jones, and especially the Huber family.

There's something satisfying about a thumbnail that's from the very end of the episode, anticipating the moment throughout.

Would you guys ever be interested in making this an actual game. I was thinking instead of just as a trivia game show it would be more of quests you take on. You would take quests from a town and head out to try and make it to the end monster but you’d have to fight/answer trivia along the way. If you lost to much life you’d be sent back to town but with the gold you earned so you could by upgrades to do more damage per correct answer or more life. Also putting Huber’s likeness in the game to guide you along. I know it would be a lot of work but it could be more outreach and it would be eza’s first game.

The reason why you have been giving out so many Hyper strikes can be described by the central limit theorem, if you google "Galton board" you can see this in action. Long story short, when the contestants drop the balls, they will most likely fall straight down from where they are dropped. Maybe take a closer look at how pachinko machines work if you still want to use this type of game? Perhaps use a pinball type ball launcher so that contestants can't choose where to drop the balls. Hope you find a good solution while the show is on hiatus, keep up the good work!

Hey Ian and Jason I love this episode and would LOVE an episode where you three are contestants! What if you posted a patreon Post for potential questions and answers and difficulty ratings etc on a Google doc and had a couple other allies like Kyle Blood or Damiani go through them and pick the best ones. I'm sure you could get more than 144 that you need and would bring in some fan involvement. Just a thought. L&R <3<3

This episode was awesome, love mysterious monsters and having this insight into how it was created and how shooting went for the first handful was very entertaining indeed. I would suggest if ever EZA needed to generate money to get better equip or is just running a charity stream having paterons/donors be guest on the show. Travel and board is on them, I know I'd be willing to pay a pretty penny to be on mysterious monsters haha, just looks like too much fun! P.S. Just wanted to say love Easy Update in general, it's become a Sunday morning tradition to watch the newest episode, can't wait for a couple of my fav boys to hit the beach soon.
