Really? I haven't seen a lot of hate about it. I know some ppl dont like it tho. I think it's overall better than S2.

There's only 8 episodes that last 45 minutes each, except for the season finale which is 80 minutes long. You can easily finish it in 4 days even with a day job and social activities

Thanks for the talk, glad to see Sofia there as well! I agree with you guys on many levels, really enjoyed S3 and yes, Robin was simply awesome. But what's with all the time travel predictions for Season 4? I mean sure, we saw BttF now involved in there, but how and why would we even need time traveling all of a sudden? I'm not feeling any of this weird possible direction.

I thought this season was the most interesting and cohesive for the reasons they literally talk about as negatives. We were given three parties split up primarily but not exclusively by age and then fit each to a specific 80’s genre with a lean on horror: adults were body horror, teens were slasher/action horror and then the kids were monster movie/ coming of age. The fact they did that kept every story super exciting and fresh for me, and then they each had a chunk of a large overarching story that each solve their section leading them to cohesively come together in the end. I adored it and it might be my favourite season out of pure structural creativity

I thought this spoiler mode was fantastic. Damiani and Ian obviously have great chemistry, but Sophia was an awesome addition

What could work for season 4 is a hard split much like the LOTR books. 4 episodes about one group in the new town and 4 episodes about the ones who are staying in Hawkings, The groups have largely no contact (other that cool teases), but the plotlines are linked. Then have 4 of the whole cast together for the finale. With this way of doing it, you can even spread the release over a longer period of time, perhaps seperate drops, giving each storyline more time to breathe.

I have to agree with this. That's also why I really liked this season. All the threads had enough room to breath on their own and they came together really well at the end.

New Coke taste tested better in a blind taste test than classic coke, that's why they went ahead with it. But when you take away something that's been around for like a hundred years, people will get mad at you. So they had to revert back.
