Just going off the topic of parents getting their kids weird games, here's a quick story my mum still likes to tell. When we were growing up, my brothers and I got really into a demo for Worms 2, a turn-based strategy game for PC. This led to my mum walking into a game store, going up to the counter and asking "do you have Worms 2?" (Say it out loud if you don't get it.)

Witcher 1 and 2 weren't open world. They were extremely linear. The maps were large but more like a KOTOR and games like that.

CORRECTION! Kinder Eggs are not shitty. The toys inside them all are, and the last time that wasn't the case was 20 years ago, but the chocolate is good and a guaranteed drop.

I just wanted to say I really appreciate the fact the Kyle makes it a point to talk about mental health and how it impacts us. I suffer many mental health issues myself and I like that my favorite podcasters take some time to talk about it.

So I don’t just want to say that I hate the desire index (even though I truly do, my god lol) but I think part of the problem is that the opening is best when it sets itself apart from the rest of the conversations and is unique. Not only did we have to listen to episodes of tlou2 vs cyberpunk last year, we are now doomed to repeat it.

Right. Kinder Eggs don't deserve to be lumped in with loot boxes. I can't believe that anybody buys a kinder egg for the toy inside. You buy it for the chocolate and the toy is just some tat that you probably throw away after 5 minutes.
