Friend Code Episode 48 - Q&A Submission (Patreon)

On this week's episode, we will spend a good amount of time talking about Cuphead now that I've played through the game on Switch, and Brad wrote the Cuphead review for us last year when it hit PC/Xbox One, so this should provide an pretty in-depth discussion on the game and the changes coming to all versions this week. Unfortunately the scheduling this week didn't work out for Ash Paulsen, but we will try again on the following episode (at some point it will work out, I promise).

I originally brought up the DMCA takedown Nintendo issued against YouTuber Modern Vintage Gamer, and after talking with various people, this topic would be better suited to an editorial and probably would need it's own episode. Not to mention, I would need to give more lead time to the other panelists to do their research. Thus, we're going to stick with the news headlines from the past week.

So in addition to talking about Cuphead, we'll dive into the statements about the potential for a Mario + Rabbids sequel from Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot during a recent interview with IGN, Kong: Skull Island director Jordan Vogt-Roberts positive comments on Detective Pikachu, and in the wake of the announcement that Labo VR support is coming to Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the VR kits are now sold out at most retailers.
