This one took a while. First, I waited to jump in until the PS4 servers went online, because we wanted to group stream it, and I wanted to make sure I had a handful of allies that could join me if I needed backup. Second, the game kept getting updated, so I had to check how systems were changing. It turns out that, while Anthem is more fun with friends, it's definitely feasible to jump into random groups and get the job done. Unless the game prevents you from playing it, which it seems to do a lot. As strange as it sounds, I believe in Anthem. I had fun playing it, and will probably check out any updates in the future. But so many things went wrong, even with all the time that's passed since launch, that this project will sadly be remembered for starting off on the wrong foot. Fingers crossed things take a turn.

Anthem - Easy Allies Review

Fans that have waited for Anthem will have to wait a bit longer until it's up to speed with a lot of the competition. Long load times, repetitive missions, and a lack of end-game surprises take a lot of excitement out of what is otherwise a beautiful game with inventive controls.
