Wow, it's Elyse in the new studio! Also, thank you for lowering the camera below the hanging asymmetric metal rig in the background (especially the left side)

I haven't seen the episode yet so I don't know if get touched upon but one of my biggest gripes with this episode was the lack of illusion of choice. A lot of the time it just felt like the game went to me we're doing this whether you like it or not. I didn't want to go to the market, I didn't want to go to the room, I didn't want to be disrespectful to the mother. Yet all of these happened, and it's not them happening that's what frustrated it me. It's two things, first why give me the choice? And second is that usually I agree with the actions that characters take to go to the next step. Like running away from the police, or going to a crime scene in the case of The Wolf Among Us. But in this game I had a fundamental disagreement with pretty much everything that happened and it soured me somewhat.

Great episode, enjoying the ride of season 2. Mom has powers, nuff said.

Somehow I got the feeling that maybe their Mom left to join a cult.

Thanks, Mushroom. Rest in peace! I let Daniel do his thing, as I imagined Sean being shocked enough about a crazy cougar. What's to say it would've been a good idea to let go of the cougar when Daniel already had control over it? With Sean training Daniel and wanting to know if he might have powers too, I believe he must have had a touch of curiosity as to what Daniel would do. Making that choice let me have a proper burial for Mushroom, which felt very important. I said Daniel did the right thing saving Chris, called Lyla (in ep 1 aswell), checked the computer, helped Charles realize he needed help, and told Daniel to stop lying to Chris, but he didnt. That resulted in Daniel casting the police car to the side and into a tree to save Chris since he still believed he had the power. So Daniel accidentally might have another death on his hands (though he was just saving Chris) and Chris was left realizing he didn't have any power, with a dead or hurt police officer, seeing Daniel and Sean run away. Either ending was great but especially the more "damaging" ones with the police car. In a cliffhanger way, at least. Sneaking out would obviously have been the most satisfying. So insane to think what it all could mean for the future. I'm certain we'll go back to Seattle and end up on a bittersweet note, being free but broken, then maybe moving to Puerto Lobos to honor Esteban... Getting involved with the weed may very well be what ends up with the brothers captured. But what on earth the final big decision might be (if any) is beyond me. All I know for sure is that we NEED to see their mother, Lyla again, and in one way or another, Max.

I loved this episode so much, i just love the slow character development, it really helped me connect so much more to them!! Cant wait for episode 3

Chris got hit by a car in mine and I was in shambles

Chris got hit for me too. Didn’t even have a choice to use powers which was frustrating. I told Daniel it was okay to use his powers for good (saving Chris from his fall earlier) and also lifting the cabinet off grandpa so i don’t get why he wouldn’t use them then. One tidbit some people might have missed. On the desk in the cabin there’s a letter from a doctor/hospital about Daniel missing his appointment/treatments. I don’t remember it exactly but I think it mentioned radiation. His coughing is likely a very serious illness and going so long untreated probably won’t end well. I don’t think the cough is from him using his powers.
