Friend Code Episode 18 Mishap (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

Unfortunately, the SD cards we shot Friend Code on have gone missing, and I've been unable to locate them after searching frantically for the past few hours. This means no episode tonight for Patrons, and I am going to try to figure out what to do to make up for the missing episode. Going forward, I'll be taking additional steps to prevent this from happening again. I'm very sorry to those of you looking forward to the episode.

Friend Code: The Lost Chapter-sounds like a great episode title when or if you're able release that misplaced footage. Joking aside we're cool with waiting. Accidents happen. I'll be looking forward to the next episode of top quality content.

If it had to happen to any episode, this is the best scenario, as the Direct happened mere minutes after the episode was shot. To echo what Ren Uzuki said above, I’d love to see it whether you find it tomorrow, next month, or three years from now (although my fun title was gonna be “Friend Code: Warp Zone”.

Since the direct came after shooting you could do an ad-hoc mini-sode stream to discuss the direct with any available allies

Ahhh it's a shame you couldn't find it Damiani. I was really looking forward to his Friend Code because I'm mainly interested for the Nintendo coverage in the Podcasts so Friend Code is perfect. But stuff like this happens and you tried to still make it happen. Unfortunately you couldn't find it but that will only make me more excited for the next Friend Code. I am sorry I was not trying to rub salt in the wounds. L&R

Appreciate the honesty. Hopefully everyone learns a lesson from this. I expect EZA to be more organized and prepared. It's been nearly 2 years so I'm sure some of us here are expecting more in terms of how you guys manage yourselves adminstratively.

Damm. ...thats crazy. But don't sweat it D, that stuff just happens... I know that is not super comforting but, sometimes footage just disappears. I personally have had my fair share footage mis haps whether it was lost, stolen, deleted... It sucks, but just remember to not let it bother you too much... like I said, sometimes it just happens. Feel better friend.
