I love Moof! Fight me! lol

I like the idea of new characters starting at lower level. As a viewer its fun to get familiar and grow with a character. It also makes the levels seem a little less relevant when re rolls are instantly level 15. I know it would take some coordination, but maybe some one offs or side episodes to introduce them and level them up a bit?

Very interesting idea! Not saying that's how we'll do it, but I like it. - Ben

Hold on hold on hold on.... The patron group has their OWN DRAGON?! And I thought Hubers snake man servant was crazy.

Great recap episode. Really looking forward to the next season. Also wanted to chime in on the Moof thing. I loved Moof as a character. I thought he was funny and brought an interesting dynamic to the characters' interaction. The only thing I didn't like about him is the same thing that happened to a lot of the NPC party members during the show. It's that the players often forced the NPCs to do things for them in order to avoid rolling for stuff. To me it felt like they pushed actually playing the game on Ben so he had to play against himself. Sure it brought for some fun hijinx but sometimes it felt like they just didn't want to decide anything for themselves.

It was a pretty long process to get the dragon. Actually much more involved than what Huber went through.

I like this comment a lot and agree with it. I think part of the problem comes from the fact that many of the NPCs didn't have a lot of confidence or agency of their own. I think characters that DON'T bend to the party so willingly would be good.

Ben, have you ever considered introducing some kind of magical artifact (like a cursed bracelet or something) that can cling to a player of it's choice, and if triggered, someone else will posses that player? i.e. if Kyle or Huber miss a week then Jones or Don could 'possess' that character (in their body, but with their own character). Or even just to liven things up.

Thanks a lot for a great season and all the hours of pure enjoyment we got out of this. Ben, you have done an amazing job crafting this world and are a great DM. The only recommendation I would have is that you often leave plotlines unfinished and as such, it ends up feeling like you just changed your mind over time. Try taking more notes on major events that happen and try to organically steer the story in that direction. When the team arrived in Bulvac, it was a perfect opportunity, with all the craziness happening, to have Therese summon a lobster instead of her Crow and setup the vision she had during the island part, making the world feel more whole. Same goes with the mind flayer portal, mother of dragons and Pompers character motivation to close a portal. I feel that maybe with the robed figure that's where it's headed, but small details like this can go a long way. Imagine leaving some bredcrumbs of the Team B party (Birdcough and co.) existing in the same world as the A Team, little easter eggs for loyal listeners/viewers :)

Good idea, but Therese has Remove Curse now, so effectively undone in advance.

I still think Therese and Pomper being level fifteen is insane for balance reasons, but at least with Pomper maybe you could twist it so him losing his dragon heritage and becoming human comes with a level penalty (temporary or permanent) to get him down to par with the newer additions to the party. Then you could just let Therese run wild at higher level, but with the obligation of taking care of Pomper "and the new friends he inevitably recruits". Easier to DM one higher leveled character in a group than multiple, responsible for taking on the big bads of the enemy group and such, effectively becoming the leader. Could be fun just to have mama Therese, who actually knows shit and is worldly, taking care of the little ones. Also, could stave off Pomper immediately ressurecting Moof, although you could start him on an arc to try to do so that could culminate when Pomper regained his full power. After all you've put him through, you could even potentially one day boost Pomper and only Pomper OVER level 20 (main character lol) as a way of making up to him the level zap now. Maybe he'd become a dragon again too if that's something he wished for? On top of that, not sure about your world, but Kobolds are normally related to Dragons, so if Dragons no longer exist in your world, neither should Kobolds, so Moof shouldn't exist period anymore on top of the other normal problems with bringing Moof back. Could be that Moof comes back as a human like what happened to Pomper or I'm sure you could brainstorm all kinds of outs and ends to direct that information into an entertaining story. Anyways, looking forward to wherever next season goes. I think the group is right when they say you're always too hard on yourself. (or commenters are too hard on you) You've carved out a very entertaining, unique DnD show, and that alone is something to be proud of. It might not always be "real DnD", but the laughter you give us is as real as it gets and as much of a group effort as this show is that wouldn't be remotely possible without you sighing and dealing with whatever bullshit Huber just decided to do time and time again so thanks for making it happen Ben!

No mention of ZeeZee? That part where Therese fakes ZeeZee's death in the ocean and Yogala's failed rescue attempt had me laughing SO hard. You guys are awesome.

That's kinda how I picture it. Pomper is supposed to have character goal of closing the portal which ties into Therese. So Fame and Necator leave and Pomper convinces Therese to assist in this new quest... And from there they could recruit companions who for once aren't NPC's but the actual other players. Even more hilarious if Kyle and Brad roleplay as several people in a tavern and Ian/Huber recruit/get followed by whatever the final character will be.

Mage hand passes through drowning ZeeZee illusion = </3 :'(
