New Show: Trailer Jones (Patreon)

In case you missed it, we added a $2 reward tier called “Trailer Jones.” New episodes will be posted on Thursday mornings at 10 AM. The next episode will go live next Thursday, 7/13.

You can watch each new weekly episode of the show on our YouTube channel, at the same time as everyone else, but if you want to join the conversation on Patreon - including suggesting what trailer the show will cover next - you need to be a $2 or above Patron. We’re doing this for a few reasons.

1. People have asked us for a $2 tier so they can double their $1 pledge, so I expect some people will sign up whether they have an interest in the show or not.

2. Like L&R during the podcast, or our Q&A reward tier, I enjoy getting feedback directly from the people who are supporting us. If you’re responsible for resurrecting our trailer-scoring show, then I want you to decide what we cover week to week. 99% of the time we’ll use these suggestions. We’ll only pick our own trailers for big events like E3 and PSX.

3. Similar to Blood Pact, and the Patron D&D reward tier, I want to organize all the trailer-heads in one place. I’m curious who among you will offer suggestions consistently, and what pieces of media you want us to focus on.

So if you’d like to suggest a trailer: become a $2 or above Patron, if you’re not one already, then drop a video link in the comments of the latest Trailer Jones post. We obviously can’t score all the trailers, but the bigger our Patreon gets, the more time we’ll have for the shows we care about.
