Yesterday my friend Jess posted a picture I shot of her 4 years ago, from the first time we hiked to my secret canyon together for a day of romping around in the Angeles National Forest. This was only maybe the third time I had brought a friend She was commenting on how different that 4/20 was from this year's 4/20 - how strange LA life has become in the last 2 months!  

I was looking through the archive and realised I never actually posted the images from this very impromptu hike - I hesitate to refer to it as a "shoot", really we were just out there acting like little feral kids - swinging on trees, kissing frogs, getting dirty, watching newts fornicate, balancing on logs, sunning our junk, smoking weed, naked outdoor yoga, bathing in the creek - I didn't even have my proper camera with me, but i got some cute images captures Jess at play with my iPhone and my favorite point-and-shoot digital.  I always want to present very different stuff in my posts for any given month, so this full hippie, non-model playing in the wilderness is almost as far as my work gets from the last sets I posted with professional fetish models in my house!
