I think both Eirenne and I came into this shoot feeling unnecessarily intimidated by the other.  I saw her 105K+ Instagram followers and Suicide Girl experience/style and assumed she would be entirely underwhelmed by my mode of shooting.  I found out later that she had little experience working with artistic based photographers outside the SG world, and had never done any shoots out in the wilderness really. This was her first.  This made both of us a bit shy and overly self-deprecating, and so it took us almost an hour to really find a groove at all.  

The weather was not at all what I wanted ("toooo much sun!" was my constant refrain) to shoot her in, but we made the best of the situation and after shooting ended up laying around on a huge boulder in the shade talking for a long time about our mutual insecurity despite all our experiences in our respective corners of this photography space. i think we both knew by the time we left that it was quite possibly the start of a good friendship!
