Two additions for the Memory Vault Folder (which now has 65 Exclusive sets for my $20 patrons! Sheesh) this month.

The first set (which includes 28 images and a video) was actually not a photoshoot at all, although my friend Anita and I had shot a bit earlier in the day in my friend's pool.  We did the shoot because it was a brutally hot October day, and even there near the coast it was 100°F. Even the pool water was hot. So after the shoot we decided to to the ocean, to my usual tide pools to try cool if in the ocean.  Surprisingly there was no one else there, so we made our way out to the barrier and got into the pools of cool ocean water.  We didn't really think about how big the surf might be that day...

The second set is from June of 2016, the first time i ever met and hiked with Jessica, now my favorite spider scientist friend (well, ok, I only know one spider scientist, but she is an awesome human none the less). It was super fun to go hike along one of my usual trails and ask her all kinds of questions about the animals and plants we saw.  We played with snakes and newts, and goofed around with this weird mask a friend had made and loaned me.  I can't saw that the mask experiment was much of a success, but we still had a fun day of exploring.  62 images in this set.

For those of you who are $20 Patrons with access to the Archive folder, look for "Anita at the Tide Pools" and "Jessica in San Gabriel Mountains" for this month's new Archive additions.
