I have been using 'the Archive", a folder to which $20+ Patrons have access, as a means of motivating myself to go back through old shoots to re-edit them, and delete unnecessary files. I've been saving out sets of JPGs (sometimes big sets - this shoot of Lydia produced 54 images I was satisfied enough with to share) so as to have a record of them online.

Its quite amusing to go back through those old memories, think about the person and the situation in the photos and the stream of memories associated with them. Also I notice how badly I shot most of the images.  I don't know what I am doing with a camera, but I knew even less back then. I can at least re-edit the images in a way that suits my current aesthetic, but that can do little to hide the amateur behind the lens.  Still, those memories and the record of growing a bit as a shooter make these satisfying.

Lydia HATED being in front of the camera, but she tried it a few times (I also uploaded an indoor lingerie set of her to the Archive as well) for me, and I always appreciated that so much - that is true friendship!
