During the winter of 2016 I was hiding out indoors a lot, so i took to doing some shoots in my home studio, which is a painting/illustration studio (I make my living making drawing) so it was not at all set up for photography. I cobbled together a set up though to play around shooting in the dark.  My friend Jess agreed to help out by sitting for me in the dark.  We tried a lot of stuff, from using these starlight projectors that had come free with a Japanese science magazine,  to improvising light painting with a cheapo color changing snowman night light I had bought at a drugstore, to body painting in  black light.  We tried it all (quite amateurishly) and had a blast doing it!

These are a little sample of the images - those with higher pledges have access to up 53 more images from the shoot.
