Some wonderful new Martin Kane fiction today! And, even better, it features the return of one of his best creations.

We published one of Martin's stories called "Walk Me Home" which detailed a secret military program to create lethal warriors who could destroy an opponent with one massive blow, with unimaginable strength and abilities. It just so happened that most of the recruits were female, and the program directed by Major Babbage -- a woman who demonstrated these abilities to the horror (and delight) of those assembled.

Well, the good Major is back, and this time she's called in to exercise her license to kill, and does so with the kind of spooky, "how did she do that" brutal efficiency that only Martin can describe.

I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did. And, if you think the Major is as amazing as I do, now is the time to get even more excited. There's already a 3rd tale starring Babbage in the can, and Martin is motivated and working on a 4th. You can never have too much Babbage Damage! So enjoy "License to Kill: The Return of Major Babbage," now in the PDF story section of the content folder!

More to come soon!

I love Martin Kane's stories and it's great to have him writing for this group, but I am a little disappointed with the effort. His stories on DTV were a solid 10-12 pages, but here they are 5-6 and not even a full 5-6 because the graphic of the fbb posing takes up 25%-30% of each page. In "License to Kill" there is only one full page of text, but that is mitigated by the next page which has an image that takes up half of the page. IMO, that's just "phoning it in" so to speak. I am asking politely, may we have a little more per installment please.

Dusty's MANKILLER UNIVERSE

Well, I hear ya, but I can't really back you up on that. The length is largely out of my hands; I take what he sends me. But at this point I'm just glad he's agreed to write for the group; he grudgingly came out of a self-imposed "retirement" to do it, and basically sends me 1 short-to-mid length story per month. And even if it was a single page of text, I don't think I'd ever consider something he wrote as "phoning it in." While the action in this piece might be quick, that's not to say every one is that way, plus it helps sets the stage for other chapters. Variety is the spice of life, after all. If it helps, the Babbage sequel that is already completed has an especially noteworthy body count. That'll be on its way relatively soon. While they might be shorter stories now, he turns them in regularly and I think they've been published at a fair rate. Between his efforts, a few of my pieces coming up, and now Rebecca Lawe joining in, I'm feeling pretty good about where we're at, in terms of fiction.
