Hi all,

After the last big animation, I took a bit of a break - fear not, there was still new work being done at the time. I've been busy compiling, organizing, and converting lots of older recorded dialogue that was never officially processed, so it can now be used (this is a time-intensive, very repetitive - and frankly, quite boring - process). The good news is that there are over 400 lines of new dialogue now added to the MK library, with at least twice that much to go.

In other exciting audio news, I've recently reconnected with the original voice actress for CyberEVE, who also provided the narration for the EVE audiobook. I've drawn up four new pages of dialogue for that saucy cybernetic assassin to be used in Part 2 of the EVE: Infiltration series. (I know I talked briefly with a few MKU supporters about maybe voicing some male characters in the past, but I was so busy that I didn't make time to follow up on it...well, I'll need some volunteers to moan, beg, and gurgle into a microphone for that new EVE installment. More on this soon).

Your support makes hiring these amazing ladies possible, and their performances make the MKU characters even better as they wreak havoc!

I've also been busy putting the redesigned Ultima to use; it seems she's discovering Earth (as you can see above) and getting ready to go on a short, violent rampage. I've also gotten a few of the first proper MK comic pages together, which show off the FireAnt's unique skill set - hopefully those will be done soon...I'm busy trying to learn as much of Photoshop as I can, as quickly as I can, for this purpose.

Unfortunately, all that dialogue processing also caused a BIG, painful flare-up of my carpal tunnel problems, so I have to go easy on it for a little while. I've had enough health problems this year already that I don't want to add surgery to my hand/arm to the list quite yet). Lots of rest, anti-inflammatories, and the use of a brace whenever I can wear it.

There will be lots more to come, and a new story by Martin Kane in the next day or two. The next animation pieces should start rolling out soon.

Thanks, as always.  More soon!

Wow! That’s a lot of work going on! Just make sure you take care of yourself. Your health should always come first.
