Nominations have been open almost a week now, and you might be wondering how it’s going.

So far, we have forty ladies nominated out of sixty-four slots. Needless to say, there are some duplicates already. There have also been a few questions asked, and I thought I’d answer the more common ones here.

Q: What if there aren’t 64 ladies nominated?
A: I’ll fill out the rest from a reserve list.

Q: What if MORE than 64 are nominated?
A: Then we take the 64 highest nominated ladies. Each time the same lady is nominated, her tally goes up by 1.

Q: What about the regions from last year (Comic, Cartoon, Anime & Video Games)?
A: There were enough edge cases last year to cause confusions about who went where. So I just decided to randomly sort ladies into four regions named for the cardinal directions (North, South, East, and West) based on when their first nomination was received.

Q: Should I nominate ladies now, or wait and think it over?
A: It’s up to you, but getting your list in earlier will affect which region they get placed into. (See above)

Q: How come Legionnaires get to vote twice, but us civilians only get to vote once per poll?
A: Because my Legionnaires are special, lovely people who have earned the right.

Q: Why is there no prize (aside from bragging rights) for the Bracket Challenge?
A: The fact is, Patreon is so worried about gambling that they do not allow contests with prizes, even if the prize has zero monetary value and doesn’t require membership to win. They say the allow contests, but in practice it’s not possible.
