The caterpillar !!! (Patreon)

So it was an exercice I had to make for my class and I took the chance to make a little step by step on it so you can see how I work in general =)

First the forms that compose your character, balls are the easiest one and it also works for humans ! Often begin with it to help you to see fast what your character will do.

Then I put some details. It can be tattoos or designs, not that much in the beginning to not loose too much volume ! 

Then I put the overlaps !! Everything that float in the air (I will make a tutorial on this) 

And then the colors =)
